the location is great as well as the on site dining option. The facility needs updated.

Well located. Well maintained. Very helpful staff. Good price.

We had a king suite. The room was nice and large, no complaints there. However, for a king suite, and a large bathroom, you'd think the shower and tub would be a better size. It was shallow and small. The shower head was super dated. That isn't too much to ask to have a decent size tub to take a bath. Also, we booked for 4 people, my husband and his kids. We drove separately, but the hotel lied to us saying they were completely booked and had no parking for our second car. I know this was a lie because the rooms across from us and next to us were empty, and the parking lot was only about 3/4 full at midnight, and at 8am. There was no reason to lie about it, just say the policy is one car per room. Anyhow, then they have a restaurant attached but blocked all access to it??? Why? That's my other gripe. I've stayed here before and the access was open. They didn't tell us why, but it was annoying. The man at the front desk was just unfriendly and unwelcoming. I hate paying $200+ for a room and being treated as if I'm a nuisance.

It was Close to downtown and nice pool. Would stay again.

Location is excellent! Coffee maker was not working correctly

This hotel is very outdated. I chose it due to the proximity to downtown State College. Check in went smoothly. However, in the middle of the night, the heating fan started making a very loud noise. Therefore, I had an awful night of sleep and had to change rooms the next morning. The new room seemed cleaner and more updated. The beds are very small. Don’t expect 4 people to fit in one room. I lost my room key and front desk was very rude about giving me a new one even though I had my ID. This hotel only provides parking for one car. If you have a guest with a car, expect to pay. I won’t be staying at this hotel in the future.

Very nice and friendly staff. I will surely recommend to others.

Nice downtown hotel so allows you to walk places around town.

Nice hotel in convenient location. Accommodated late arrival.

The staff was very polite. However, my room could have been in better condition. I picked up the phone to call the front desk and found the phone cord was covered in mold on the inside of the coil. There was also apparent mold on the ceilings and walls in the bathroom.

Hotel was fine. I’m very disappointed that the rate through Orbitz was $20 more than directly with the hotel.

This is a great hotel and location. The staff was very friendly. An employee named Ashley was very helpful and came inside when I asked her something in the parking garage even though you could tell she was leaving work. A maid whose name I unfortunately didn't get offered me all her personal colored pens for my nephews to draw with when all I asked for was 1 extra hotel pen. The only thing i wish they offered was breakfast.

Needed a place to sleep. Close to campus. Not pretty to look at and the lobby and elevators were a bit hot (it was 90 degrees out so...) the air in the top was loud as was the plumbing. I was up so it didn’t wake me but a light sleeper might be bothered.

Nice, quiet. Nice staff, close to everything. The town is a wonderful place, especially in the summer. Many things to do, many places to eat. Also Penn State University is there, and within easy walking distance.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for selecting the Hotel of the Year Days Inn by Wyndham Penn State and taking the time to leave us feedback regarding your recent stay. Please allow me to apologize for the areas that we fell short of exceeding your expectations and the discomfort caused as a result. Specifically, I am sorry for any miscommunication on behalf of our staff, but our hotel policy is only one parking spot per room reservation as we only have enough spots as many rooms as we have. Please know, our front desk is open 24 hours every day and so we have to ensure each and every guest receives a parking spot even if the guest checks-in past the regular 3 p.m. check-in time. We do have overflow parking available half a block down at the Pugh Street Parking Garage and I am sorry if this information did not reach you. I will be sure to address your concerns with the rest of our hotel team to ensure proper measures are taken as your candid feedback assists us in achieving our goal of providing exceptional guest service and warm hospitality to all of our hotel guests. Please also know the reason why the doors between our hotel and the attached restaurant are closed when the patio is open is to bottleneck the entrance so that each and every patron has their ID checked as the restaurant has to observe the strict alcohol consumption and serving laws enforced in Pennsylvania and that only patrons who are 21 and above are served alcoholic beverages. I apologize for the inconvenience caused as a result and I will be sure to address this concern separately with the restaurant management team. We are glad to hear you were happy with the room size. Thank you again for sharing your experience with us and we hope you will provide us another opportunity to provide you the service you have come to expect from the Days Inn by Wyndham Penn State.
