Seaglass on St Thomas is a beautiful gem of a studio condo at Sapphire Village, perched just above the tranquil turquoise waters of Pillsbury Sound and Sapphire Beach. With beautiful St John Island providing gorgeous daytime vistas and twinkling night lights, and the hills of the other Virgin Islands dotting the skyline, the views from Seaglass are a living postcard for your Caribbean vacation.

Seaglass is located on the East End of St Thomas, which many consider the best location on the island. We agree. A brief walk down the hill leads you to gorgeous Sapphire Marina, where you can hop aboard one of our favorite charter boats for an unforgettable island-hopping adventure, or the Dive Shop where you can book a dive or snorkel tour, rent some water toys for the day or simply lounge on the soft sand of stunning Sapphire Beach.

Grab a bite or a drink at our poolside tiki bar or venture into the bustling village of Red Hook, where you’ll find some of the best restaurants, bars, shops and provisions in St Thomas. A $1 Safari Taxi ride will get you there if you don’t have a car.

Our host, Andre, was responsive and welcoming. The reason for the 4 stars vs. 5 stars is due to a very uncomfortable couch and no other place to sit inside except for two chairs that go with the very large table on the balcony. There’s some kind of table under the tv but I was afraid to touch it, and no place to locate it. The mattress was so so as were the pillows, the bureau was adequate enough for a short stay but we made do as we stayed 2-1/2 weeks. I would recommend putting the bureau under the tv and replacing the couch with something more sturdy. A small table and 2 chairs would help for a small meal. We love sitting on the balcony, but this trip, we initially had some inclement weather which didn’t allow for sitting on the balcony. There are some small maintenance issues that I will report to our host, nothing major but needs attention. The WiFi was good. Nice sized refrigerator, cooktop was adequate. Nice microwave and toaster oven with air fryer. I appreciated the cleaning supplies in order to maintain cleanliness during our stay. Overall, a pleasant stay and the view is stunning.

Our stay was amazing. There was a few mishaps at the beginning where he had to replace the shower and hot water tank so it kept us from having a shower. Andre kept in contact with my fiancé the whole time. Other than that the condo was amazing. The views are one in a life time views I absolutely loved them.

Beautiful location

We have traveled to St. Thomas several times and this location was perfect for us. The view from the unit was so beautiful! The studio had everything we needed. We think Sapphire Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Also, we love eating at the multiple locations in Redhook.We had several breakfasts at Sudi's which was just across our parking lot! Finally, being so close the the ferry to St.John is a plus! We hope to visit again soon !

Good for Couple Week Getaway

We were looking for a one bedroom, reasonably priced place near the beach. Was exactly what we were looking for. Convenient to Sapphire Beach (which was not overrun with tourists), restaurants, and the ferry. The unit is near the pool and Sudi’s (restaurant). Noise never an issue and view was great. Only issue was limited TV channel choices granted we were gone most of the time.

PLUSES AND MINUSES

TV does not work and this is a major negative. Written Instructions would’ve been helpful as well as for other things you need to know. The woman next door explained what we needed to do when the power was out for hours.Door to the balcony is very hard to close and open--needs to be lubricated.The view is fantastic but the balcony does overlook a building and parking area.Good sized table on the balcony with two comfortable chairs which was good for eating meals and enjoying morning coffee.Very comfortable king size bed with six big fluffy pillows.Nice touches in the bathroom: soap/shampoo/conditioner. Fluffy towels and wash cloths. Walk-in marble shower is definitely a plus. Toilet seat tends to move -- needs some maintenance.Typical studio kitchen — tiny with very little counter space and only a two burner stove top, but adequate for preparing simple meals.Coffee maker is unusable - the lid to the water well does not close all the way.Be careful where you put things in the refrigerator because anything touching the back wall or in the bottom crisper drawers will freeze. Ice maker doesn’t function but there were 2 ice cube trays.The hospitality manager, Gloria, responded instantly to our text messages, and the housekeeping staff were personable and very helpful.Appreciated the beach towels but a cooler would've been nice.Overall what we expected despite the exaggerated descriptions on the website.Nonetheless we enjoyed our 2 weeks on beautiful St. Thomas.
