The twin room was so tiny the beds were jammed together, essentially making one king bed. We separated the beds but had trouble moving around the room due to how room was configured. The air conditioning did not keep the room cool enough to get a good night's sleep. Further, the AC was turned off automatically when room was not occupied, so it never cooled properly. With windows open, room was very noisy due to its position overlooking the street. Shower was of the type that flooded much of the bathroom floor. That said, the hotel was very clean, the staff was most hospitable and the breakfast was excellent.
Very small rooms, but it's not about that. Bathroom. It' reminds me old Soviet facilities. The water runs across the whole bathroom when one takes a shower. The location is good though, yet not good enough. Hashtag notworthit.
The location of the hotel was great for us as we arrived by train, this hotel is located close to the train station. No taxi or bus required, just a short walk away! Check in was quick and easy. Our room was clean and quiet. The breakfast options are excellent and always well stocked. Will stay here again.
We were celebrating my uncles 60th birthday and the hotel made it really special with a kind birthday note and a bottle of champagne. The location of the hotel is good, right at the end of Nevsky Prospekt. The railway station (we came from Moscow) is right across the street, The galleria mall is 5 mins walk and so is the metro station. However, We booked 3 rooms but the rooms were allocated randomly and far from each other. To get the rooms together, we had to upgrade to business class rooms for an additional cost. The concierge service was good.
In the heart of the city in the main street we were able to walk for miles along the shopping street. A beautiful city with amazing architecture. The hotel was comfortable and had easy access to the underground and shops.
We had lunch here recently as a large group... The food was lovely and the staff were very efficient! Despite the language barrier we were looked after very well and would recommend this hotel to travellers... To finish it all off we had a shot of Russian Vodka to toast us on our way! Thank you to all the lovely staff at the Park Inn....
Pleasant hotel situated close to the Nevsky Avenue, a short walk to the canal and about 3.5km walk to the Hermitage. We ran down the Nevsky one morning and it is a lovely early run with a lot to look at. The shower set up is a little odd as there is a moving screen to stop water spilling into the rest of the bathroom (it doesn't work) but the pressure is good. Temperature errs on the side of hot. The bed is on the hard side but I found it reasonably comfortable however the pillows are absolutely terrible - I woke up with a headache every morning. The hotel provides good supplies to the rooms, such as shoe shine pad, slippers, sewing kit, bathroom extras etc. Breakfast is nice with a lot of options and the coffee is good. If you prefer Starbucks, there are two in a shopping centre 350m from the hotel. We also had dinner in the hotel, which was excellent but a little overpriced. They charge a lot for water which I think is a bit unreasonable however you do get two free bottles in your room every day when they make up the room.
The Park Inn Nevksy is brilliantly located right by the Moscow railway station and on the famous Nevsky Prospect. It is well served by Metro and buses. Our business class room was most spacious, clean and well equipped with fridge, coffee/tea making equipment and a really comfortable bed. We received a personal service from the reception staff- Sophia and Yaroslav were delightful and most efficient. We had a generous, tasty buffet breakfast with plenty of different foods (including Russian and "Western" specialities) in the adjoining Pauliner restaurant reached internally through the hotel. I particularly liked the ultra thin blini pancakes. Full marks all round. We will stay there again when we return to St. Petersburg.
Came back from 3 nights at the hotel Let me start from the good things; nice small room, close to the metro and buses to Nevsky .nice breakfast However, the bathroom is minimized and don't have enough place to put toiletics .The shower is not fully closed and the water make the floor wet. But the service was the worse of all.asked for wake up call that never came and others things ( like toilet paper..
The hotel lobby (and the hotel itself) is not that big, but my experience here was fabulous. The rooms were average-sized, it was pretty comfortable despite the fact that we were three people in our standard room. The breakfast was excellent! There was a decent selection of food but more importantly, the food tasted really well. The location was excellent as it was located by the main train station and was a 5-minute walk away from a huge shopping mall. Not to mention that it was just across a circle from Nevsky avenue, a bustling street lined with a lot of shops and restaurants.
