Liked it very much. Edinstvnnoe indicated early arrival and early departure, but the room for us before 14:00 not provided. Otherwise all happy. Thanks for the compliment in honor of his birthday. The convenient location is a big plus.
Everything was OK (would say not perfect but in average; nothing special). Food in restaurant was good but not delicious and a bit expensive. Main thing is the price - very reasonable for the city centre.
My husband and I live in Moscow, but originally we both are from St. Petersburg, and coming home, always stay at this hotel. Excellent location-20 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes walk to the metro, and some nice sights. The staff is very friendly and ready to help with any request. There is a large garden close to it where you can walk around. We really enjoy breakfast and a bar where you can watch sports programs. It also has a gym and a sauna where it is nice to stay after a long walk in the city center.
I arrive to hotel at 8 am but Elena from reception not helped me and she told at least 13:00 room will be ready and she refused to help.I left and turn back 11:38 to hotel other girl told me room was ready ;) bad and pillow and sofa not comfortable . Far to Nevski additional taxi price .
I had an attractive, warm, spacious room overlooking the park. Quiet at night. Very welcoming. Excellent breakfast. The main disadvantage was the distance from the Hermitage and other attractions, but still within walking distance (about 30 minutes to the Hermitage, less to the main shops/restaurants) and only a short walk to the nearest metro station. Internet slow or intermittent.
Stayed at this hotel as part of a group tour to St Petersburg. Really have nothing bad to say about it. Breakfasts were fine with fruit, porridge or fried breakfast available, and plenty of it available. There is a lovely park that winds around the hotel and is a good place to unwind and people watch. There is a good supermarket 3 min away and is a good place to buy vodka as presents if that's your style. Staff were friendly and courteous and had good English. There is an ATM in the lobby. There are a number of good restaurants within a few mins walk. It's just off moscow prospect where you can find flea markets, metro and bus stops. St Isaacs cathederal is a 40 min walk and is a good place to get the Hop on Hop off buses. Arbat street is the main shopping thoroughfare and is about a 50 min walk. Overall very enjoyable and would stay there again
it is very comfortable hotel and good variety food are served. The location of this hotel is ideal place to travel the city of St. Petersburg. The tourists from all over the world are staying this hotel.
The room was OK but quite small; our room overlooked a rather bland building but a park surrounded the other three sides so I guess we were just unlucky. No kettle in room and safe was locked so had to get security up to sort it before we could go out. Enough cupboard shelf space but the hanging space was limited and it you were by the cupboard you were in danger of being hit by the bathroom door, which has to open into the corridor as the bathroom was very small. No individual soaps/shower gel but a dispenser by the sink said soap and the one by the shower in the bath said shampoo but, frankly, they could have been washing up liquid. Nice black and red design. Free bottled water topped up daily in fridge provided. Breakfasts were adequate but some of the cooked food was luke warm, not helped by the plates not being warm and sometimes it was a fair trek back to the table. The hotel was clearly used by many tour groups. All the staff were helpful and polite. Didn't use the gym but did take advantage of the steam room and sauna; great after a busy day sightseeing. Within easy walk to the nearest Metro station and two small supermarkets.
There`s lots to see and do in St. Petersburg and this hotel is a convenient base from which to visit the city. There`s a sports bar with big screen TVs so that you can keep up with your favourite team. One thing that I did find a bit annoying was that the lighting in the bathroom could have been a bit better focused to make shaving easier.
I really like the hotel and the room itself, especially during my last trip - it was 8th floor with a fantastic, almost helicopter view on St Pete. The room is clean, rather comfy. Last time it was a superior room - probably this is the reason I also got red slippers available, but it was nice and handy. The location of the hotel is convenient too. The food is well prepared and any choice
