Excellent service for a fair price. We stayed 3 nights with both couples from Australia. Staff were very attentive with booking of restaurant and taxis. Very enjoyable time...the hotel restaurant was good food and great value. Try beers in the afternoon in the courtyard....nice little oasis before heading out on the town. Take care pickpockets and scams at the crowded venues and tourist spots...
The staff all speak English which was extremely helpful in making our plans and getting advice. The rooms are clean, large and had ample closet space. The breakfast was passable, but nothing like a typical European or American breakfast (though there was muesli). The location is not ideal if you are a tourist who wants to walk and be centrally located. We did walk everywhere but it was at least 2 kilometers to get to the major sites. It was interesting to be in a "neighborhood" and to walk among the non-tourists and there are a few decent restaurants nearby (and some good coffee shops). I didn't feel 100% safe in the evenings once we were off the main street and walking towards the hotel- but we had no incidents and are very happy we visited St. Petersburg.
We decided to head to Saint Petersburg without prior planning and could not have been luckier to stay at Nashotel. The hotel is located on the historical Vasilisky Island. The hotel is a walking distance (2km) away from the Hermitage and other historical marvels. The staff are pleasant , the breakfast is great and the rooms are clean. Could not recommend it enough for a quick economy family stay in Saint Petersburg.
We cannot rate this hotel highly enough! We came here for part of our honeymoon and are so glad we did. The staff really go above and beyond to provide excellent service, and were invaluable when helping us deal with a paperwork issue. We couldn't have resolved it without their help. The rooms are spotless with good provisions (basic toiletries, dressing gowns, bottled water and a mini bar). The continental breakfast was lovely, the hot wasn't to our taste but there are generous breakfast buffet times in the morning. We also used the restaurant for lunch and dinner during our stay, and it is well priced and good quality. We stayed on the fifth floor facing the main road and had no problems with noise. The only thing to note is there is only a shower and no bath. The hotel is a brisk 45 minute walk from the Hermitage etc, but very close to the Metro. There are also a good collection of local restaurants and amenities. Would certainly stay here again.
We were staying there for 2 nights. The hotel looks very nice, modern. Our room was big and spacious. Good bathroom. Good cleaning. Breakfast is tasty and you can ask for omelet ;-) We were leaving the hotel early at the morning so we had a take away breakfast which was great. Stuff is very polite and helpful! The hotel is very close to metro station (10 minutes walk). In those area you can find small shops and good cafe as well.
It is a nice and correct hotel in a relatively central neighbourhood. Nice staff especially at the reception. Clean, comfortable rooms, can sleep well. Breakfast is a bit on the flipside, could imagine both wider choices and variability. One day we planned to have dinner at the hotel after a tough and rainy day, but couldn't because of some group. It would have been nice to have a notice at breakfast to adjust our program. All in all it was OK, would go back.
This hotel was very pleasant. About an 8 minute walk to the metro then just 1 metro stop Nevski Prospect. Room was spacious, quiet and had comfortable bed. Also we were giving 2 bottles of free water every day. All staff were very polite and spoke good English. They also have a few bikes which you can take free of charge. We only used these once but it was a great way to cover lots of the city. The only reason for marking it down 1 star is that I didn't think the breakfast was that great. I like eating lots of fresh fruit and although they had whole apples, oranges and kiwis there were no bananas or anything like melon. The hot food selection wasn't really to my taste - green beans, hot dogs and potatoes. There weren't any eggs of any type. The pasty selection was also quite poor I though - mini croissants but I found these to be quite hard and not very pleasant to eat. I did enjoy the coffee and they did serve freshly squeezed orange juice. Overall I would recommend.
The hotel is new, with good rooms, excellent team fluent in English and a respectable breakfast. Downside is the location in the island, not in walking distance to the center and a lack of a spa. However, metro is just 3 blocks away.
Good location within 5 minutes from subway. Easy and quick And inexpensive Uber ride ($2) to the center city. Rooms are good size and have everything you need. Bathroom is slightly outdated with some immediate need for cosmetic repairs. Noise is minimal and price was ok. Breakfast acceptable and modest. Good for a short stay.
We received a friendly welcome, with champagne, from the great, efficient staff. The room was comfortable and quiet. The hotel is a short walk from the metro and then one stop to Nevsky Prospekt; or a similar walk to buses to take to you in other directions. There are supermarkets, little shops and eating places nearby.
