I stayed overnight, arriving around 1am. The complimentary shuttle finishes at midnight, so I had to make my own way to the hotel. Ordering a taxi with Yandex Taxi means the cost is around 200-300 rubles. (The hotel is in 'Pulkovo' not at Pulkovo Airport) Otherwise there is a shuttle during the day. The check-in staff was polite and well intentioned given it was super late in the night. The room itself was good, and the bed comfortable. I slept really well and they also provide cool little 'Sleep Kit's' which have a pillow spray and roll-on therapy/scent which was a nice touch. The next morning I did take the shuttle back to the airport, which was okay. I wouldn't say the driver was overly friendly and it was a little confusing as the shuttle just came but he didn't get out or anything, but this is super minor. It's free after all. Overall, the hotel is all you really need for an airport layover, but not much more.
I stayed this hotel one night. Hotel is good, rooms are comfortable, decoration is nice but reception clerks are so amateur and so unfriendly. They do not have about their work anything. They have to change their mind. By the way breakfast is so poor. Wi fi connection is not bad.
First impressions were good - everyone on reception spoke English. We paid extra for the club lounge based on our past experiences of the Crowne Plaza brand, but that was where we went wrong. This place is all style and no substance. In particular, the Club Lounge is a desultory experience. It wasn't staffed at any time. An hour into evening service we had to call some number in another part of the hotel to have the alcohol come out from its hiding place. The "hot dinner snacks" were the same few desserts from the afternoon, plus inedible pork ribs. My wife briefly tried to interact with some mannish looking staff woman who wandered into the lounge at one point. She got a curt "no English". Ugh. So disappointing.
Shuttle driver couldnt even be borthered to assist with bags Room ok but small - bed is comfortable Lounge is open 24/7 which is great Gym is sufficient Reception staff very nice and competent Choice in evening buffet very limited
The Hotel is ok for one night, but I would recommend the "Hilton Saint Petersburg Expoforum". I did say in both Hotels and both are very close to the Airport. Hilton Saint Petersburg Expoforum offers a better room design for the same price. However the Crowne Plaza St. Petersburg Airport is not bad, its clen and ok
shuttle service: guests can find free shuttle bus by exiting the arrival hall and going to the left-hand side. There is a sign indicating that is the correct place. There is an about 10 min trip by shuttle bus from the airport to the hotel. You can find the schedule on the official website. I was assigned to room 601 which was better than my expectation. Because it is a corner room so I got some extra space I think. Besides it, the facilities in the room were also nice. In short, I think the room can meet the demand of airport sleepers well. However, the tv in my room did not work so I missed men long jump as well as the 100m final of IAAF world championship 2017. Additionally, there is a Mc' Donald and a large supermarket nearby that helped me a lot. At last, there is a tip for all foreign travellers that you need to pay a registration fee (250 RUB) for the Russian government so do not confuse it.
Got invited to speak at an event held at this hotel. There is an Airport Shuttle, which is very convenient. Walking was just a little too far, and taxi’s don’t like small distances. Check-in was Easy, they even had my Prio-Club-nr, even though the booking was made via the organizing committee. I got a very nice corner-room on 8th floor with a Great View, and access to the club-lounge. Breakfast can be done in the club-lounge, but downstairs breakfast is much more elaborate - Recommended. The lounge-bar is open till 0100, and we have used it as such. The hotel is spacious, and the conference-area is well equipped. A taxi ride to city-center is approx 40min, and make sure the driver is using the meter. Throughout my stay, hotel personnel from reception, bar, breakfast and lounge were very helpful: They are well trained and make a real effort to help customers feel at home. Checkout was Efficient, as was the Airport-Shuttle. Recommended for Conferences or Business-stay.
Although the hotel is not near to city center, it has all the basic necessities for lodgers including the airport shuttle. The hotel is large and clean with helpful staff. Restaurants large with nice buffet breakfasts. Room is clean and good for comfortable stay. Highly recommended to others.
We stayed here courtesy of BA as a result of the IT problems which prevented our flight from taking off. Around 140 of us descended on the hotel at short notice. While it took time, the staff handled the booking in well. Quiet efficency. We had dinner and breakfast and both were good. Rooms pleasant and comfortable. Well done to the whole of the Crowne Plaza team for making us welcome and wanted on a trying day.
We had a surprise visit here when our flight back to London was cancelled. The hotel is comfortable and the food good. Convenient for the airport. It has all the facilities you'd expect from this type of hotel, spa included.
