Hotel is well kept and on the quiet end of the beach. They offer beach chairs and umbrellas which is great because the vendors that rent them close early in October. Just be prepared to carry them across the beach. Room was lovely but the ocean view in the 2bdr (on the third floor) left much to be desired. The balcony is right next to the top of a utility pole and the view is tarnished by the pole and wires. I recommend asking which room you will be assigned because they refused to change the room and told us the room a customer receives is based on the site they used to book it through.

This property is new and clean. We thought there were few amenities for the high add-on fees. For example, we were charged a daily resort fee of $30 which included 2 bottles of water a day. Our room was 3 bedroom and slept 8. After the initial 2 bottles of water, we were never offered any more. In addition, we were given 4 bath towels upon check-in and were told if we wanted more, we needed to put dirty ones outside the door to the room and they would be replaced. The location was very nice and the room was spacious, but there was nothing overly impressive about this property.
Well my stay at the Avalon suite was very convenient for my family and myself. The suite had everything we needed and was clean,organized and gave us a positive vibe. The staff was also great and courteous, friendly and helped us with anything we needed. We will definitely be coming back there again and would definitely recommend this place to anyone.
Shelby on the front desk is amazing . She is super helpful and as soon as we arrived greeted us with a smile. We will stay here again and recommend to friends and family . Just wished the pool was a little bigger. Other than that location is perfect and amenities are good.

This property made you feel like you were at home. The friendliness of the staff and the other guests was wonderful. Karen and Felicia stand out as staff that really impacted our stay, but everyone one we encountered was friendly and helpful. Can't say enough good things. We'll definitely be back.

Thank you for sharing your experience. Our fees and what they cover, are included in the reservation screen when you book. They are also noted in the confirmation email sent when we confirm your reservation and in the pre-arrival email sent 3 days prior to your arrival on the property. While we understand the confusion, the resort fee that you note covers much more than the 2 complimentary bottles of water (and cookies) that you received upon arrival. It covers use of beach chairs, umbrellas, beach and pool toys, use of the pool, pool/beach towels and additional amenities like unlimited kCups, laundry detergent, etc. To address your issue with the bath towels, we base our towel distribution upon the number of guests in the suite. we give our guests fresh towels as frequently as needed, but we need to be sure to have enough returned to us to make this possible. Lastly, our refrigerators include filtered water disbursement systems and we encourage our guests to use those if they prefer not to purchase bottled water.
