The location was perfect, parking fine, the unit was beautifully updated and decorated. We enjoyed and appreciated the large balcony with plenty of furniture and a beautiful view. The unit came with beach chairs and umbrella, fans and cleaning items and a starter pack of items. The check in process was a bit cumbersome having to drive to another building a mile down the road to get the key even though we did contactless check in. I would’ve preferred getting the code via text or email ahead of time so we could drive straight to the unit especially since we arrived so late and had an elderly person with us. When we arrived at the unit, we were quite dismayed at how it hadn’t been properly cleaned. There was trash in the bathroom and bedroom drawers and under the beds and behind the nightstands. The toilet had a “sanitized” banner across the seat but there were urine stains under the seat. The kitchen counters had dried coffee and crumbs, the appliances had a lot of fingerprints. It wasn’t horrible but it was enough to realize that it hadn’t been properly cleaned for us and we worried if the bedsheets had been changed. We called the office and they had someone call us first thing in the morning and they send a lovely very efficient lady to properly clean for us which was wonderful. Besides those concerns and inconveniences, the remainder of the stay was wonderful. We loved the proximity to the beach, the amenities and we would stay again.
