This place is perfect. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. Secretly I hate to build it up too much because I don't want it to be unavailable for my next return!

It's nothing like it shows in the pictures. The rooms are too small with small queen size beds. There is no view of garden or ocean.

My room had cracked tiles, caution tape on the corner of my balcony. What the website does not tell you is that they have two pools but you cannot use the one pool if you have children under the age of 18 years old. The tiki bar does not allow you to sit and eat or go to the bar and get a drink if you have a child with you.. The bar crowd had poured over to the family area so there was no where to get food Also during the summer the restraunt is only open sat 9-11 and Sunday they open at 9:30am. When I expressed my concern to the office they did nothing to try and make the situation better. When I checked out they asked me how my stay was I voiced my concerns and let them know I would not return and they said well we hope you have a nice trip.. They cater to the bar, when there is no parking for the paying guest b/c the bar traffic has taken up all the space, they do nothing. I go to the area a couple times a year to visit my brother. I will not return there the customer service was horrible.

We had a relaxing time; however, it being a holiday weekend it was very busy. I kind of felt like when we were greeted the receptionist seemed to be in a hurry to check us in, but didn't have any other clients behind us, so I thought the attention to detail was a little lacking. The place is very nice, but I was diappointed in the fact that the pool and tiki bar were accessible for all patrons, so it was not as private as I would have liked. Also, there is a boat slip for all boats to park which gave people access to the amenities as well. I personally felt it was a little overpriced, but the water view was great. Although, if you can make sure you can get a room above the second floor, otherwise you felt like everyone was watching. Our room was right above the pool area, and that was not fun. If you want to save a little money on eating out, there is a small kitchen with a two burner stove and microwave, and a small fridge. Just another note, if you want a bath then don't get the studio size. There is a stand alone shower only. Also, the hot tub is very small. For us, I just think that we will stay at a higher end hotel with a free breakfast and possible beach access for about the same price.

We had a great week at Beso Del Sol. The pool was hot and clean. We had a studio and it was perfect for a 1 week stay. We had air condition problem and hot water problem, but we reported the problem and it was taken care in the same day. The staff at the reception and the maintenance staff where very helpful. We would go back again without any question.

Clean, updated and great location. However, I wasn't clear on if the Tiki Bar is actually open. It may have been closed due to poor weather, but we were given no information regarding this. Our bathroom had a delightful family of mosquitos but also an excellent view. The bed was small and very squeaky. A previous review mentioned the glass panel doors and yes they let in a lot of light at night, wish there was a shade for this. The staff are half and half. Some were very friendly others acted like they couldn't be bothered with us. Chance of me going again.. 75%

we enjoyed waking up in the morning and sitting on the balcony looking at the water and watching the birds. Pool was nice, hot tub was nice, went for a bike ride into town, took walks, ate at very nice inexpensive restaurants, went to a ballgame, and the casino. There was so much to do and we didn't have to go far from our resort. We would recommend it to our friends and we for sure will go back again. thank you..

My wife, teen daughter and I enjoyed a brief respite from winter weather at the gorgeous Beso del Sol Resort. The beautifully landscaped waterfront setting within walking distance to charming Dunedin was just what we needed. Our daughter enjoyed lounging in the sun by the heated pool while we biked the Pinellas Trail on complimentary bikes, kayaked in the Gulf, browsed the Main Street shops and hiked Honeymoon Island. We capped each day with free sunset shots at the onsite Tiki bar while enjoying reggae music and spectacular sunsets. [...] and the rest of the staff could not have been more friendly and accomodating. Our cozy condo with full kitchen was just perfect. My wife wants to buy one of the condos so we can come back again and again. really cant think of anything we needed that wasn't provided. great time, great place!

the good- grea location, so close to caladesi and clearwater. The bad- staff wasnt very freindly or helpful when trying to find area attractions. and the WiFi didnt work The ugly- doors are glass and light shines in very brightlyinto room at night. had to put blanket over door. noisy air conditioner had trouble sleeping. would recomend for the great location, and during the day it is a restful place, and pretty.
