What a disappointment, mediocre room at best for $500, this place is under construction and the rooms are so outdated. Layout of the property is not ideal and did not even feel like we were on a beach property. Associate during check-in told bad joke after bad joke. $15 parking on top of it all. Would never stay here again.

The rooms are outdated, but you clearly know that when you book. Our housekeepers were phenomenal and we always had what we needed. Our room was a little far away from the “pool view” but it was fine. Great hotel for the price. The 2 queen beds were very comfortable, but the pullout couch was less than desirable for my other 2 kids. It was walkable to many restaurants and if not the Free Beach Ride or Free Bee golf cart rides were excellent as well for our family of 6 to get around. The beach is awesome. The cabana bar was great - just wished they had live music during the day and a restaurant on site. But we loved it.

overall it was just what we were looking for , a full kitchen , 2 queen beds , nice staff and clean . everything was a bit dated and they were constantly working on the property (painting ,landscaping) which is a good thing once things get complete . i would stay here again and my wife and i stayed with 3 small kids .

Room was clean and loved having the kitchenette during our stay. Very convenient and lots of restaurants in the area. I am adding this to our list of places to stay.

Needs updates

The property was nice with a tropical corridor with many activities such as two pools, a hot tub, shuffleboard, corn hole, table tennis and a tiki bar. The property is located right on the beach. It is currently being renovated and will be very nice when completed. The only downfall was paying $16 a day for parking.

Areas of the porperty are under construction which would have been nice to know in advance. The portion we stayed in was old, dated, had two roaches, and all the drains were clogged. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

Will definitely stay again! The rooms are great!

Our stay was Dec.5 to Dec. 11 2021..I really like this place. But, the premium King room we reserved and paid for was not available because all the premium rooms were under construction. We were disappointed, but they did give us a cheaper room that was still ocean view. And they did work out some compensation along with a refund from Orbitz. It was very noisy due to the construction but, I still love this place. One of the bartenders at the beach bar was taking his own tip out of the bill. The rest of the bartenders were great.

Great and helpful staff. Nice amenities and awesome access to the Gulf.

very clean

The room smelled like mold and instead of giving us a different room, they gave us fans.

Overall a good value for our stay. The place could use some updating or just a little paint but overall our stay was great. The room, bed were all clean the little extras were nice. Location was off the beach which was perfect, the area was quiet and seemed safe. No resort fees only $15 parking per day, the bar had great inexpensive prices. We enjoyed our stay here.

Our room was terribly outdated with torn, stained carpet and rusty fixtures. The property is on a great place but for the price, it needs to be upgraded

Room was dirty. Noisy from above and adjoining room Bathtub had dirty bottom and mold in grout. Housekeeping staff was helpful and supplied us with extra towels.

When booked, my room was supposed to be 1st floor poolside. I booked this because on my bad calves. I was put on the 2nd floor not even by the pool. When I asked the guy at the desk, his response was “oh no you are not on the 1st floor and not by the pool” was not nice at all about it.

We’ve been staying at the Alden now for about 8 years, every year. The upkeep of the resort just went downhill the last 3 years. Out dated and just dirty now. So disappointing! The rooms need a complete overhaul and DEEP CLEANED! We couldn’t even open or shut our patio door because of the dirt and grime buildup over the years. Hopefully the Tradewinds will revamp and bring her back to life, because she’s got great bones!

Everything was good just several kitchen items were missing. They replaced them quick. Enjoyed the balcony view of the beach. Excellent location.
