Very clean. Great pools, big jacuzzi spa and on the beach. Nice cabana. Very reasonable drinks and snacks. Party town. Lots of great restaurants and bars. Beach is beautiful.

We booked through orbitz and got a great rate for beach front rooms. I loved the separate bedroom from the living room with a balcony and beach view. I will be staying there again. The staff was exceptional Other than a slow tub drain and construction next door which was out of their control everything was excellent.

Hotel had very nice grounds and the staff was super friendly. However, the leaf blower woke us up at 9 AM. There are renovations going on, etc. Our thermostat, which is connected to a motion detector, had to be reset. The elevator was stuck on the 4th floor. The day of our departure, we did not have hot water. Water was not icy cold, but it was not hot. Couldn't even call it warm. But, it a a good value all things considered. You get what you pay for.

. Staff are very friendly. , rooms weee nice and clean

It was great. I loved the hotel. Everything it was nice, and I love the room. But I found cockroach in the kitchen. Other than that I'll be back

Kevin in Rez and Mike - Chris at Front Desk were excellent, many thanks!

Only stayed one night but would of liked to stay longer but hurricane Irma was heading this way so didn't get to experience everything the hotel offered but will definitely be back

Great experience , it was our send time visiting Hoping to come back next year!

Very nice hotel/resort. Walking distance to many restaurants by beach or street. Location to the beach/ water is amazing. Loved that we never really needed a car. Pools were clean and had plenty of chairs and shade for those who wanted it. Beach is beautiful and full of seashells which is nice. Overall great place and we'd definitely come back and recommend to others.

Hotel was awesome got a free upgrade to ocean view since our room was under maintenance.

Love the place right on the beach, room clean, staff are nice

Enjoyed the stay. Perfect weather all week. Lots of places to eat close by. Room was clean and comfy.

The hotel staff were super friendly, from the gentlemen at the front desk to the cleaning crew to the bartenders at the Cabana Bar who stayed open late so that we could watch the playoff hockey game. There are two pools and a hot tub. The pools are a little small but they were clean and warm. The rooms are a little outdated. The couches have that hard slippery material on the cushions. A full size coffee maker would have been a nice touch, but the kitchenette was nice for making breakfast and/or lunches. The beds were nice and the rooms were very clean. The location of this hotel is great, it is right on the beach, just a short walk to the shore. There are cabanas and chairs that you can rent, or you can go to the local publix and buy cheap beach chairs for your stay. Beautiful sunsets every night!

I've visited the area many times and this was my best experience. We loved everything. We came for peace and relaxation. We will definitely be back.

Very well managed and professionally run hotel. Hotel staff everywhehere and they are very friendly. There are constant cleaning staff about the property. We had loud people next door and when I told reception, they spoke with them and it was quiet after that. I asked them about a squeak in the door and they oiled it immediately as it was waking up our little one. We would stay there again. The pools were very warm and clean as well. Great for families and couples. Probably not for partiers.

This was our second trip to the Alden. This is not the most luxurious property on the beach but it offers the best value in my opinion. The staff is second to none, the facilities are clean and high quality, and the beach is just as close and perfect as the neighboring resorts costing triple the price. The poolside suites are spacious and comfortable with enough room for a family of 4 or even more. The gulf front suites are only a little smaller but still offer lots of space at a great value. This is a quiet property without a bunch of loud nightlife so really ideal for families, but great beach bars are only 2 doors down if you so desire. The only thing I wish was different is the beds, but that just gives a good reason to get up early and enjoy the sunrise. We will return to this laid back paradise!

The room was good, plenty of room. Right on the beach

This hotel is in need of some serious updates. Our AC went out 3 times in one night and when it did work it was extremely loud and rattled. We had 4 different maintenance people try to fix it and the last one said "there is a problem, I don't know what it is" and left. After 2 days they finally had us switch rooms only to encounter the same problem. We checked out and found another hotel. I would not recommend this hotel.

Overall was a great experience though the room was in need of some repair i.e. Cracked tiles bad paint touch ups and bathroom with about three tubes of caulking to much although the bed wa very comfortable. And did I say how great the staff was. Thanks for making the stay special. Thanks. Noel

My best friend and I did a 3 night girls getaway to the Alden Suites Oct 17th-20th. It's a great location, right on a beautiful stretch of beach. Also has several restaurants and shops within walking distance. We didn't have a car and had no trouble accessing meals and convenience stores for what we needed. The property is beautiful, very throw back Florida beach style. The room was nice and clean, a little dated but we expected that. The shower could use an update but it was clean and functioned perfectly for us. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and made for a great nights sleep! There was a kitchenette with a stove, mini fridge, microwave and toaster. We only utilized the mini fridge for our bottled water and beer we bought at the 7 eleven. The staff was all great and helpful. There is a small shop on site that carries all kinds of necessities and we also got advice from the employee ( I think her name was Kathy..) about excursions and the free beach ride transportation that will take u pretty much anywhere. Very helpful. The front desk was also very friendly and checking in and out was a breeze. The tiki bar was great with happy hour from 4-7. All the praise for Chris and Dave is very much deserved. They are super bartenders and incredible people with amazing personalities. They are so friendly and interactive and really have a following in St Pete's beach. I would return to this hotel because of them alone. Overall, it was a great experience at a great price!
