Le Beach Hotel - Adults Only

Every February, if possible, we go to St Martin and stay for 2 weeks at LeBeach. The property has a rather small beach and a large pier for sunning. It is bright and airy and right on the edge of Marigot, the capital of French St Martin. We rent a car and drive to different beaches for daylight adventures. The best for us is because we are in our late 70's, we prefer not to drive at night. The hotel is within very easy walking distance of several good restaurants.

Me, my husband and daughter stayed at this hotel for 8 days. Nice place, convenient location but need upgrade. It's 2014 and someone would like to see something better. We are not fancy people we don't stay much in the hotel so no need for luxury just basic. As far as cleaning goes it's pretty clean considering the ancient stuff. Everyone working there was extremely kind and very helpful. The breakfast they offer is pretty good but same exact things everyday. My advice rent a car and explore the island as for the hotel with what we saw not that many better options.

The hotel staff could not have been nicer. The hotel was very clean, everyone has a terrace. Next time I would have upgrade to beachfront view. The hotel is on a main street. The hotel is right on the water with its own beach (careful there are coral and rocks intermingled). Nice pool. Close walking distance to town if you just want to get away and do not want a car. I was great just sitting on the veranda, reading a book while listening to the waves. Good local restaurants. I would have liked the hotel to provide pads for their beach and pool chairs. Very relaxing place I would go again. The package of this hotel and airfare was a great deal.

The staff were instantly helpful and welcoming. the breakfasts were delightful and the evenings on the patio, overlooking the bay were gorgeous.

This hotel is in the perfect location for an adventure on St Martin/St Maarten. Our room was spacious and comfortable with views of the sea. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Wifi was unreliable and the beach was not the best and our TV was the size of a toaster oven. Nonetheless, we would stay there again.

It was a beautiful spot with great views. Perfect sunsets. Good pool for laps and swimming around and small beach of it's own. I like the way the hotel is set up inside and the rooms were spacious and the beds comfortably firm. Excellent breakfast buffet. Easy to hop in your car and go anywhere. The staff were lovely and helpful and went out of their way. Most dinners we ate in Marigot, either at the marina or at the waterfront. All the food was amazing; loved the lolos. Downside to hotel was the lighting was dim in the rooms (for nighttime reading) and we could have used an outlet. We didn't care that the tvs are tiny because we didn't watch tv. I'm sure that the upcoming renovations will change things but we enjoyed it!

We visit St Martin twice a year and love staying at this hotel. The staff is friendly and treat you very special.

hard to get to. there was a free breakfast but only partake in the Orange juice. Rooms are very out dated. The hotel summary said a recent improvement to property but could not tell where they improve on. I will not come back.

the hotel was sold this year and will close from April 2013 until Dec 2013. We been in this hotel for 10 years but this year with the new owner it seems that he has no idea about running hotels. They will do a major refit but what we heared, there is some money problem. Before, we could recommend this hotel, now we wont do so again. For us it was a negative experiance this year. Sorry about the negative news, but this was our feeling. Photos from the renovation plan are attached below. Best regards, Leopold Besau.

The room was quite adequate but we needed an iron. Also, our toilet ran the entire time. I told them at the front desk but the problem was not fixed. We just would turn the toilet valve off. The buffet breakfast was above average. I did not like the location. There was nothing close enough to walk to at night. It was too quiet. The Dutch side of the island has a lot more going on and is safer.

For sure the ocean view is a must Good breakfast Very charming but dated hotel.

pretty location. convenient. oldy but goody. great breakfast

Ideally situated in Marigot on the French side. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast. A value compared to others on the island.

This is a classic French style beach hotel. The staff are personable and attentive. The location is beautiful. It does need to continue updating and renewing its rooms and public areas, but I would stay here again. If you need everything perfect, you may not enjoy this hotel. BUT, if you want a great place with a friendly vibe on the ocean, this is the place!

Clean, but dated Hotel is in need of a face lift Breakfast was OK WiFi worked

The staff are friendly, accomodating and courteous. The hotel is beautiful inside and is a great location on the French side. Love this place and have been there sevearl times!!

we are very happy with the hotel, with the staff, with the location and special with our room, because we had every year the same room. the only negative point is, the hotel is sold and we don't know who is the new owner and how does the hotel look like after the renovation and how expensive are the rating next year.

The hotel did not have our reservations. We were given the last two rooms as they were booked due to conference and St. Maarten Day. Although we paid for two rooms one was supposed to be ocean front. After traveling for 12 hrs we took what was available. After all, we were at their mercy being in the isolated location. The hotel was clean but furnished with 1960 furniture and smelled musty. Front desk staff had an indifferent attitude. We do not feel as though the price was fair given the accommodations. Moreover, we will not use the Internet side again as accommodations were not available as promised and confirmed.

The rooms were very nicely furnished, and were relatively clean. Breakfast was included and was excellent, having just about anything available that you could want to eat for breakfast. The outside of the hotel was beginning to look a little run down and ready for a renovation. The rooms were cleaned everyday, but not particularly thoroughly. The beach was not very good. In the water there were a few rocks, and quite a bit of seaweed (we only went swimming on the hotel beach once). I would strongly recommend travelling to other beaches around the island instead. The pool was a little small and nothing special, but we didn't spend a lot of time in the pool either. Overall, the hotel was not luxurious, but was comfortable. I would recommend it to families and people travelling on a budget, but would not recommend it for honeymooners.

Good. The location was on a beautiful bay in Marigot, a nice French Caribbean village. It was all the basic comforts one would expect, clean and airy. We were on the street side of the hotel which was a little noisy. We opened the doors and let the sea breeze blow through which we preferred to the air conditioner. It's all about being on the island, so if that's where you want to be you would be happy to pay regular rates. It was very good at the [...] rate but we wouldn't pay full price. The hotel restaurant was not good and overcharged in US dollars from Euros but just a few blocks away on the marina boardwalk are great cafes with stunningly good French/Caribbean food at reasonable prices.

Dear Teri and Lucian, Thank you for writing a comment on your recent stay at Le Beach! We are glad to read that you loved your experience with us and especially the contact with our team who is always very eager to make your vacation a true moment of well-being. There is a coffee facility in every room for the early risers and I am surprised you could not use it. I will make sure I keep this interesting observation for our renovation project, this is quite a great idea. Next year, we should be able to introduce you to our new decor which I am sure will please you. Please, next time, feel free to come and meet our management team as we would be pleased to give you a few tips on what you haven't discovered yet from our island! We look forward to seeing back at Le Beach!
