The hotel was nice and clean and the location was fine. I liked that it was close to the highway. Due to Covid, the breakfast bar wasn't available so they offered a choice of "pastries" instead. They were high fat, high calorie, extremely processed choices, nothing remotely healthy to choose from, that was disappointing.
Didn’t receive the room I booked for . Room smelled like smoke
Location is great for anything in the greater St.L area and staff is always very friendly. The rooms have undergone a recent upgrade as well, very good value and clean.
Good nice will go again when i go backnot to far from the city so nice little ride
breakfast selection outstanding. clean room staff professional
Loved the indoor pool! Staff nice. We would revisit!!
The staff was very friendly and everything was clean
Was assigned a "Pet Room". We did NOT bring a pet. Dogs barking all day and night. NO CARPET, NO CARPET!
Should have payed more attention to the rumors of the area
Check-in was fast and friendly. The room was very clean and the beds were firm. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding every morning. Room service never changed or straightened the bedding during our three night stay, but we did receive fresh clean towels every day. The kids enjoyed the pool. Overall, I was very impressed with the extreme cleanliness of all areas of the hotel, and I appreciated the friendliness of the hotel staff.
Hotel was nice, good location, pool was closed for remodeling
The indoor pool was not heated and was very cold. We had a room on the first floor but the pool was on the second floor. The elevator was not working and needs to be replaced. We had to go outside to get to our room on the first floor since there were no steps from the second floor to the first floor. The beds were a little firm. The breakfast had good variety. Parking was very convenient. Some renovations have been completed on the rooms. More renovations need to be done.
Workers we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a nice selection of choices that our family enjoyed. The hot selections varied slightly each day. The breakfast area got quite crowded. The hotel has pet-friendly rooms, which is a nice option for pet people. We are not pet people ourselves though. Four out of the 6 days we stayed people brought their dogs with them to the public breakfast area. While I enjoy dogs, I didn’t appreciate having them in the hotel breakfast area. I understand allowing them in private rooms designated for animals, but I don’t think they should be allowed in public places, especially around food. Our own room was clean, and we really appreciated the microwave and good-sized refrigerator in the room. We found it difficult to control the climate though. Our fan ran constantly and we could keep the room cool enough, but we could not get rid of the humidity. Our swimming suits stayed wet for 2 days and our towels would not dry out even after being hung up for 24 hours. We were satisfied with the service and value for what we paid, but some of the comfort issues would probably make us look elsewhere next time we book a hotel.
The facility was okay. We picked it because of the indoor pool besides the free breakfast and okay rate. The pool is small and part of the area (whirlpool or shallow pool) was closed due to the ceiling coming down over it. The pool area is very wet with no circulation. Water was dripping from the ceiling and collected on the pool furniture. Limited number of pool towels. The breakfast was good, but the food was stuffed into a small section, so it made it hard to move around to get your breakfast and not run into people. It had a bad layout. Not a lot of seating and the lady taking care of the breakfast area of slow and unorganized. She made a lot of excuses and needed additional help. We were disappointed in the housekeeping. We were there for 4 nights. They only came into our room 1 day to straighten the beds. The heating/cooling unit was loud when it was on, but it helped at night to drown out the inconsiderate guests that were making noise during the night in the hallways. If we were to be back in the St. Louis area again, we would probably try a different hotel than go back to this one.
