St Andrews student drop off

Great location, not far from St Andrews, where we dropped our son off who was studying abroad at the University of St Andrews. Close to town, stores and historic golf! More towels and access to laundry would've been nice for a weeklong stay but accommodations were great, clean and an amazing view!

Lovely resort with much more potential

Lovely resort only minutes drive from St Andrews. I would definitely go back however would not stay at Lodge One again. It has no privacy for the hot tub and you feel like you are in a goldfish bowl. We were offered to change however the hot tub wasnt ready and that is why we were there so we politely declined. There were a few minor issues when we checked in however the staff moved quickly and professionally and sorted everything instantly. The lodge wasnt the best stocked as we had to ask for a frying pan and only two pans and no hairdryer. I think if they had an inventory to check off this would be a better system. I wouldnt like to be accused of removing anything when it wasnt there in the first place. All in all a lovely peaceful stay and look forward to when the bar, restaurant and shop are open as these were all closed so we missed out big time. It wasnt a big deal going into St Andrews for food as the hourly bus stops right outside the estate.
