This was a great property for a private stay, comfortable bed, terrific, breakfast, and the genuine hospitality of the host that somehow made you feel like old friends instantly. Tom and Karen are genuinely great. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to any of our friends.

A great place to stay

It is amazing. Delightful place to stay close to St. Andrews but a little out in the beautiful countryside. The owners are great and helpful in answering questions. Very comfortable large rooms. Breakfast is delicious. Ticks off all the boxes with a smile.

Very comfortable stay....

Very comfortable stay with a great breakfast. Upon arriving very early on our day of arrival to drop off some luggage, my wife and I were offered coffee and home made cake and were made extremely welcome. We would certainly stay again in the future and recommend it highly to anyone wanting to stay reasonably close to St.Andrews or Dundee but prefer a rural location with exceptionally helpful hosts.

The Stay Was Perfect

My dad and I stayed here before our long awaited round of golf at St Andrews Links. As I reflect back on this stay, I simply cannot find fault with any aspect of our visit. We are touring Scotland and England playing golf and I wanted the personal touch of a B&B at each destination and Pinewood was by far our best experience. Room - perfect size, great decor, comfortable beds Private washroom - very modern design, several amenities, great shower Wifi - worked well in the room as well as common areas Breakfast - freshly prepared and absolutely delicious Hosts - this couple is awesome and very attentive to your needs There is a St. Michaels Inn & Restaurant s just down the street. Their food is very good so 8 highly recommend eating there and trying the fish soup. But I highly recommend staying at Pinewood!

Nice and close to St. Andrews golf course.

Karen and her husband are really nice hosts and made our stay really comfortable. We had to get up at 4am to wait in line at St. Andrews Old Course and they made sure there was food for us to eat.

Lovely guest house near St. andrew's

We had a lovely stay at Pinewood. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. It was in a great location, just minutes from St. Andrew's our room was beautiful and had everything we needed. We would certainly stay there again.
