Quality Inn & Suites2.0 out of 5.0

My wife and I travel through this area usually at least once a year and Lincoln is often a good stopping point. I was a bit skeptical about the property since it was showing up on a lot of sites as an Econo Lodge but the reviews were good so we thought we'd give it a try and it turned out to be one of the best hotel rooms that we've booked over the past few years. From what I understand, they were attempting to "upgrade" to a Quality Inn property. Although we hadn't stayed here when it was an Econo Lodge, assuming that the prices won't skyrocket with the new "branding" it will definitely be at the top of our list if Lincoln turns out to be a good stopping point. No complaints about the property itself, but eating options in the vicinity are pretty slim, especially on a Sunday evening. It appears that there are a few new businesses opening up at this exit off of I-55 though, so the area may be in for some nice improvements in the near future. I don't know if this is a matter of new ownership/management or something else, but I can definitely say JOB WELL DONE with no reservations (pun intended)!
Conveniently located for what I needed. Price is low budget but the recent remodel was very nice. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. There was some nose from other guests but that was because of some other convention or activity that was going on in the area. I didnt get a chance to grab breakfast but the area was very clean and looked inviting.
room was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, great water pressure. The building is under construction but they had everthing out of the way and kept very tidy. We had a nice breakfast the next morning as well. We will diffently go back.
I stayed here for a couple nights and it was the greatest time I could expect. The breakfast had a great variety of nice food (amazing sausages patties). The indoor pool & hot tub was always clean and the perfect temperature. The rooms are very roomy and the beddings are always clean. Good amount of channels. In a good location roght next to a fast food restraunt and gas station. The nicest people you could meet! Real southern hospitality. The workers treated you as friends and aleays understanding. I had an amazing time, for sure would stay here. 10 stars if I could!
Aptly named because the rate is one of the most affordable. Room and property was decently clean. However, the comfort just wasn't there for me because the beds are so firm. By firm I really mean hard. But, if you have a bad back and prefer this kind of sleep at a good price, this is your place. I will pass.
Easy Check in. The price was cheaper than my coupon!!! They remodeling here. My room was great, the only thing lacking was a clock. It had a fridge and microwave. The breakfast was very good. This is the BEST Econ lodge I have ever stayed in!!
This was the worse hotel ever. Stayed for one night. Hard , small pillows not enough for a grown persom to put your head on.. Rock hard beds , very uncomfortable,. Very noisey, people in hotel and street noise. Never again.
From checking to check out, the staff were so friendly and helpful. My room was a king suite, very nice room, clean, bedding was super comfortable. Microwave, fridge all working great. Nice breakfast, 24/7 coffee, tea, Cocoa. Really much nicer than I expected for the price. We WILL use econo lodges in the future.
When the fan belt on my 2002 PT Cruiser broke at 70 mph, a friendly state trooper secured a friendly tow truck driver to tow me to the friendly Chrysler dealer in Lincoln, Illinois. Having, unexpectedly, to be in town for two days, I stayed at the closest hotel, The Econo Lodge. The hotel staff was friendly, accommodating, interested in my plight, and gave me a great deal for the two-night stay. The room was first-rate, sumptuous even, with lovely, comfortable king bed, and in-room whirlpool bath. The complimentary breakfast was good, the pool was clean and attractive. All in all, this is one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at over my 72 years, at any price, and I will definitely stay at an Econo Lodge in the future. The hotel, and the World's Largest Covered Wagon roadside attraction, (and the successful repair of my car) were the high points of my unplanned visit to Lincoln, Illinois.
We stayed there 6 years ago and hot tub in room was so hot you could not enjoy now jacuzzi would not hold water. We even had front desk gal look at it but it would not work. Breakfast eggs were to watery to eat. They say hotel is trying to get a upgradad name to Comfort Hotel or Quality Inn they do not deserve it.
