Drury Inn & Suites Springfield

Recent guest reviews

Hotel staff were very friendly. The rooms and halls were musty smelling and the overall cleanliness of tables etc could have been better. We often had to get someone to clean a table to sit at during breakfast and we were the first guests arriving.

overall this was a great hotel. my stay was short due to time crunch.

Came to Springfield for a short trip to see the Lincoln sights. Kids were so excited to eat a variety of food and drinks at the free kickback dinner/snack time. There were 7 of us in all. We were going to have a snack, but decided to just make it dinner. They had chicken strips, baked potatoes, Mac and cheese, soup, hot dogs, chips, nachos, carrots, celery and salad along with drinks, including alcohol for the adults. The eating area was very nice. The guy working there went out of his way to keep the place fully stocked and clean, even offering to refill drinks and clear tables. He honestly was incredible. The kids ales enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and made a late night trip to get drinks and popcorn. Free breakfast in the morning was another great perk. Honestly, not having to deal with the hassle and expense of eating out twice alone makes this hotel worth it! But with such a reasonable price, it would be crazy to stay anywhere else.

Newly remodeled very clean hotel. The staff was great and the kickback in the evening from 5:30 -7:00 was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were just passing through Springfield on our way to Chicago, and chose this hotel because of it's excellent reviews. Morning and evening meals are a huge plus. Extremely accommodating staff. Renovation at this location was nearly complete during our visit, our room was new. When we walked into the room we'd been assigned, we could smell lingering cigarette smoke. My wife commented, and an employee nearby in the hallway heard our discussion. He offered to change our room immediately. He went downstairs, upgraded us to a suite, then brought the keys up to us and helped us move our suitcases to a suite on a different floor. Wow - above and beyond! Would definitely stay again.

Had some issues with a room close to pool (noise) which staff right away corrected and put us in a quieter room. However, the new room's heating system not functioning correctly and on the last day, hot water went out. We did not inform staff as we were not spending too much time in room. The staff was very friendly and helpful, though, The building is undergoing some remodeling.

clean quiet, good warm breakfast enjoyable stay will stay their again

My husband and I stayed one night. I had a business meeting and my husband came along for the ride. The manager went out of his way to offer a late checkout and gave my husband directions to a nearby park where he could enjoy the weather. The breakfast was great and the woman working the breakfast was friendly as well. Room was comfortable and clean.

Just a stop over on the way home from visting family. Nice, but not great. Very good food. Price was a little high for this type hotel.

There for business. Good location for my purposes.

The breakfast was very good, and we enjoyed the complementary popcorn. The room was clean and comfortable. We were close to downtown Springfield and getting to the Lincoln attractions from the hotel was easy.

Very relaxing weekend for my sister and I! Great continental breakfast!

The hotel was clean, mattress was very comfortable and the water was hot. We would recommend this hotel to everyone.

I was a bit hesitant to book this hotel but am so glad I did. The nightly manager's reception was fantastic and was a great way to end a busy day of meetings. The breakfast was terrific. It snowed the morning I left, so it was very nice to have a hearty breakfast at the hotel and not have to trudge somewhere to get a real meal before driving all day. The staff were exceedingly friendly and professional.

I was there to attend a class for work. I have nothing but good things to say. Excellent facility and the most friendly staff.

I will have to say I have never been disapointed in Drury Hotels. Everyone I have visted are all fist class. I really liked the location of this Drury and how clean it was, The staff was great, I was relaxed and enjoyd my stay. The price is great and the breakfast and drinks are great as well.

I was in Springfield for a conference. This was conveniently located and resonable.
