I could park anywhere I liked. It is an older property so does not have elevator s in every corner. Minimal staff nutstaf s

l liked that i could leave my truck while traveling for a reasonable price and the shuttle was great

The breakfast was not good, not enough variety or choices that were appealing to one self.

Easy check in, nice and friendly stuff, overall good place to stay near airport.

Helpful staff, clean bed, working air-conditioner on the plus side. On the negative, tiny bathroom, somewhat rundown. Cheap fixtures. Overpriced. Will not return.

The rooms were very plain but the clean. The shower was the best part of the room.

Very comfortable bed, clean room, and helpful staff. Location is just outside of downtown Spokane, in a quiter area, but close enough that a very quick drive will get you downtown, or to the Gonzaga campus, which is where we were going daily. The pool was closed and empty, as visible from the hall window near the 5th floor elevator. I don't know if it opens later in the summer months (we were there in mid-May). Breakfast was decent, with simple scrambled eggs and sausage patties, with a "make your own waffle" option, and the standard cereals, bagels, and fruit. I'll likely stay here again. I like the location (between Airport and Downtown, w/ easy freeway and backroad access), and the clean room and comfortable beds.

The decor looked like the hotel in the "Shining". I have stayed in the red lion in Kalispell and it is amazing, maybe a remodel would be nice and get the pool and Jacuzzi fixed.

It was good. Staff was pleasant. Room was big and comfortable and quiet.

Certainly adequateb with a clean room. A soft chair would have been good; still a definite recommend for their intended market.

Loud noises from above, long time to check in. Will not stay again

This really was probably the worst experience I've ever had at a hotel...the room was prepaid thru orbitz. Then the hotel placed a $40 hold on my debit card in case i smoked in the room or used the phone. Took 3 tries to get me a room to finally sleep in. The first one we ended up finding out someone was in after the employee tried to get in, this is after midnight mind you. The second felt like going into a dungeon only to try and eat and go to sleep and the people next door were banging it out..bed hitting the wall and moaning. Had them get me another room where I was finally able to go to sleep peacefully. Only to get up and check out so they could release the $40 hold on my card to them actually charging me for the room I'd prepaid for!!! No manger there to refund my money but was told they would by 1pm... no refund by the next day, called for 2 more days before they finally refunded my card! What happened to the Red Lion? Thought they use to be almost luxury hotels...Definitely not that way these days!!! The one thing good i will say about it is that the guy helping me when i checked in was nice and apologetic and did his best to make the best out of the bad experience.

This hotel was worse than Motel 6. Could not even get into the room we reserved. We reserved a room with 2 king beds and had to settle for a room with 2 queen beds because the door would not open and there were terrible, rude customers across the way who left their door open. The second room we were issued had problems with the door as well. We had to give push hard on the door to get it to open. The bathroom door had permanent greasy dirt on it. No coffee maker in the room too. Never coming here again. The whole hotel had seen much better days.

I've stayed in many Red Lions over the years and this was the most disappointing of them all. Our window was falling out of the frame when we checked in. I fixed it enough that I was able to wedge the lock and secure if for the night. No heat was on and the room was about 50 degrees inside. Kudos on the bed! the nicest part of the room. The bathroom was very small and dated. The entire building appeared to 50 years old or older. Narrow, dimly lit hallways did not make us feel comfortable. I was informed at 12:30 in the afternoon that If we wanted to check in early that there was a $35.00 charge ?? first time I've ever heard this in the hotel industry. They must be adopting policies from the airline industry. Breakfast was disappointing as well. Limited selection and the hot items were warm at best. Not a single picture or decoration was hanging on any walls either in the rooms or hallways ?? I will not stay at this location nor would I recommend any friend of mine stay there either. Red Lion should be more selective about what types, conditions, ages and locations of buildings they are willing to place their name on. Very poor representation.

The property is quite aged and dated. Some of the common areas and stairways were downright scary. Although they have made attempts to contemporize and remodel, there is much more to be done. They did, however, have a pretty nice dining area and complimentary breakfast. I was surprised given the nature of the facility. I booked it as I was arriving via the airport at midnight and it was cheap and close by.

The room was just fine but when I had to take a shower at 5:30 am there was no hot water. I let it run for what seemed like forever and when I told the front desk, he assured me it would have gotten hot in another minute. Also, a SIGN for the breakfast room would help. It is in a bizarre location, and my mom and I stood around, asking we deal times where it was, walking around upstairs, etc, before he finally bothered to explain it clearly.

No fridge no microwave 1 trashcan. Ran out of ice in hotel, no machine. Not a good stay, will never stay again. Needs updating.
