The house has an excellent floor plan for both gathering and for privacy/alone time. The dining table was plenty big enough for all 9 of us to sit and talk comfortably, and the sectional couch (and chairs) in the living room accommodated us well, too. Kitchen was a bit tight and lacked some modern conveniences, but had oodles of everything we needed (except, oddly, paring knives and drink coasters!) The woodsy roads around the area made for good walking, and the waterfront access was greatly appreciated -- especially by the kids, who spent hours "hunting" on the rocks. The location was secluded but only a short drive from Boothbay Harbor, so we had a variety of options on how to spend our time.
