Room is a bid tired. Property overall is very nice, 2 pools, centrally located although not on the beach. Had 1 hot shower in 3 weeks there as solar hw is not up to the task. Need to remind staff to replace the towels they took for laundering. Staff is very cheerful and helpful.

I am an honest man and do not like leaving negative reviews, but felt like everyone should be warned. This is not a three or four star hotel. As soon as we were checking in, we knew we were in trouble. We immediately asked for another room, but were denied. In subsequent in-person, communication and emails they claim that they tried to show us other rooms while present, but that we declined. That is an untruth. Upon arrival, they informed us that there may be no hot water on cloudy days! Further, they informed us upon check-in that the TV only had Netflix and YouTube. Worse, our TV didn’t even work. There were small bedside tables, but no place to lay luggage in the room, no table or desk. Room was was extremely small —and plain. The compound itself is nice enough, nice pool area—but the pictures to promote the resort are framed in such a way as to misrepresent. We tried negotiating with the management on multiple occasions, but they kept saying that we were free to try other rooms, but we had already moved and were in another contract. Claims there is direct beach access, but you do have to cross the road and walk for a bit. Not terrible, but I would not call it direct beach access. claim bilingual staff, which was not the case. We asked for a financial compromise of any sort—denied. We stayed one night (out of the14 reserved) and then left for the Velero Resort, which is just down the road. Very very nice. Highly recommend that resort. Character matters…so buyer beware.
