Place is HOTEL clean inside, though outside looks very Motel-ish. They say they’re remodeling outside soon though.
our stay was on a Saturday night / Sunday morning. we got up at 8:00 and prepared for the day. left our room at 8:55 to get the included breakfast only to find it had been closed down already.. The staff member said it is only open 6-9. Remember this is a Sunday and that 6-9 is plainly ridiculous. these hours may be great for business guest but hardly sensible for a motel full of wedding guests.
Building was old. Slow loud elevator. Flat pillows. No one at the front desk 1/2 the time. Old lighting. I love Wingate properties and frequently stay in them but this was a 1/2 baked conversion from another property. Elevator permit posted is also out of date.
Property was clean and pleasant, but outdated looking. However, for the money, it was just what I needed for a one night stay.
The good thing about this hotel is that is located very close to HWY 76. Lots of restaurant around it within walking distance. The hotel is ok for one night. Breakfast was very dissappointed not a lot of choices.
Check-in was fast and painless. Room was VERY clean!
For the age and price it was clean and comfortable. Lighting in the bathroom was aged so lacked brightness. Bed coverings were a thin but overall for a night stay was ok.
Broken elevator, broken ice machine, cable was out, no breakfast. The bed was comfy
very clean, comfortable beds, great shower, the only problem was not having a bigger coffee pot, not just a one cup pot
Elevator did not work, back door would not close and bathroom could have been cleaner.
Routine one night stay. Acceptable value for the price.

The elevator was not thoroughly inspected so we had to take our own luggage up a grade into the hotel. The nightstand and light fixtures were not dusted. We had a yipping dog next door to us.

Horrible service place smelled bad, the clerk was rude he was also very wearing dirty clothes and the whole place was falling apart so we left and went to a real hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay. We have a contract with a local elevator company . They make monthly visits to the hotel to ensure it is running properly. They work together with the state inspector to keep the inspection current. The staff check-in 30 rooms the night of your stay , guests request can keep the front desk staff busy.
