The hotel is located in a very nice area convenient to major roads. The staff was so accommodating, overly friendly, and available at all times to assist in every possible way. While I was readying myself for a wedding and having no one to assist me the young lady at the front desk was my saving grace...she assisted me with my makeup and jewelry. I have stayed in 5-star hotels where the staff is unapproachable. The hotel is immaculate. Unfortunately, the rooms are minimal. Bare walls, one mirror in the bathroom. The room lacked sufficient lighting. dismal. Doesn't make for a cheery environment. I'd recommend the hotel for an overnight stay at best maybe two days. i would not book there again.

The property was clean and recently updated. It was quiet. Bed was comfortable. After reading the conflicting reviews I was hesitant to book but overall I was very satisfied. I did not encounter any of the issues some others reported. There were signs in the lobby limiting number of guests allowed to visit room during the stay. And also a no loud noise or music as part of the sign. Which I assume is addressing a past issue. But my experience there was very quiet. Everything was clean and smelled good (no smoke smell at all). I would definitely stay here again and wouldn’t hesitate to bring my kids. I did stay in a king room on the first floor, so I can’t speak for the second floor.

Room was brand new and clean. Beds were comfortable with great pillows and bed linens. Perfect price point for a quick overnight while visiting Rutgers. Couple of things: The sign outside doesn't do it justice. The hotel is much nicer than the sign conveys. I recommend putting a mirror in the room. It was difficult for our family to get ready with the only mirror in the bathroom.

The room was clean and nicely appointed. The bed was very comfortable. That said, I was disappointed to learn that after two months in operation, the hotel still lacked password protected wifi access. The explanation provided by staff (and the manager) was insufficient, and the provider's contact number led to a full voice mailbox. This leads me to believe that customer service is not a priority on either end of their relationship. Two of the three lamps/outlets in my room didn't function, and because there was no other available room on the first floor I chose to remain in it. The red message light on my room telephone blinked constantly during my stay and the desk personnel were unable to fix it. The ice machine was in need of maintenance and barely functioned. The room directly across the hall from the machine was open and full of construction debris. The manager appeared unapologetic when I met with him the Monday morning when checking out. He had been unavailable to address my concerns over the weekend. In subsequent contact with him since returning home, he first assured me that all of my concerns had been addressed/rectified, but I remain unconvinced. The location of the hotel is convenient to the area that I visit regularly, but I'd only choose to stay again if direct steps are taken to address my complaints.
