Our king suite was an epic fail. Sheets were ripped with cigarette burns, shower had a curtain rail but no curtain, stained bathtub did not drain so only one of us got to bathe. TV remotes in both bedroom and living room did not work- we were unable to relax in front of the TV, so there was no point in having paid extra for a suite. Baby crib requested but not provided. Furniture was mismatched and half of it was in poor, scratched up condition. The hotel advertises room service, but no room service menu, or even orientation binder were provided. No information on breakfast was offered at check-in although they advertise breakfast. Front desk was unapologetic and would not refund. Hallway guest trash cans were overflowing with miscellaneous cleaning supplies and not emptied during the time we were there. Unfortunate odor in room.

Everything in the hotel was okay. It matched the rate I paid so I did not expect so much.

The room was clean. We (2 adults & 2 babies) were on the non-smoking floor, but it still smelled like smoke (probably from the floors below). The facility seemed pretty old and has not been as nicely kept up as the pictures represent. Still we used it as a pit stop from Maine to Virginia and it served the purpose. For a quick night cap, sure. Wouldn't spend a vacation there.

I will be filling a BBB compliant ! The hotel needs major improvements, with so many options near this hotel I'm very surprised it is remaining open.

Can't complain. I needed a room near I-95 for one night only and it was ok.

ITS SMELL REALY BAD. LOCATION SHOWS ON HIGH WAY IN GPS AND I WAST MY TIME TO FIND HOTEL. ROOMS ARE LIKE 100 YEARS OLD. AND STUFF UN UNFRIENDLY. THEY DO NOT CARE.

This was a very nice, luxurious room with a very nice view It also has one of those nice Keurig coffee makers. The bathroom unfortunately was too dimly lit, which the maintenance man thankfully took care of and made it brighter. Also there is no working vent in the bathroom. The mirror got steamed up every time I used the shower. The tv does not have enough channels.I must say though that this is one of the better hotels that I stayed in.

very tricky to get to, missed entrance twice. after getting there I noticed there was no place to eat anywhere near, at the hotel there is a deli but they take advantage that there is no where else to eat the prices are unbelievable I think the cheapest sandwich was $27 and they have vending machines for soda about 4 of them they all are out of order it's like your stranded with no food or drink. The rugs are very dirty, and the TV's are old.

toilet clog, curtains would not close, hotel staff never at lobby front desk, wow found some way to charge $5 for breakfast, ice machines did not work, noisy, microwave turntable broken, it goes on and on

It was a mixed experience staying in this hotel. Some things we liked while others had a lot of scope for improvement: Good: - The hotel lobby - Nice, clean and spacious room - Very helpful and courteous staff Bad: - Both the elevators were not working when we reached. We had to use Service elevator which was in a poor condition. - There was an odd smell on the floor - Equipments in non-working condition (Phone, Microwave, Coffee-maker)

Good hotel. Clean room and good staff. Only issue was that the room had a slight odor from the ac. A bit dated in structure and basic fittings, specially the bathroom. Overall clean and good for traveler needing a place to rest and relax for the evening.

The staff clearly was not happy to be working on a Saturday night.

This was my third stay here and it was my last. When I checked in, I should have known there was a problem when the young girl at the front desk didn't seem to know anything about the hotel or what she was doing. I asked for a room with a higher toilet because of my recent knee replacement so she gave me a handicapped room. The "blackout" curtains didn't close all the way so I had light in my room all night. Then there was the bathroom. The water did not drain properly so when I got out of the shower there was about an inch of water on the floor and it was very slippery, which I consider dangerous. The towels were slightly bigger than hand towels. Such a huge disappointment. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Overall good hotel and nice stay for a good price at the hotel. Has a attached conference room as well

The check in took a while. The first room I was given was not ready (I opened the door and towels were on the bed and on the sink). I went back to the lobby and I was given a second room. All was good after that.

Room 805, which we were put into initially, had a major problem. We spotted and killed several termites on our second night there (saw 20 to 30 bugs at 5:00 AM). 8 floors up!!! The staff immediately moved us to another room, 823, and all went well. The staff apologized for any inconveniences.

room was sufficient for one evening - just adequate. Would not stay here long and would prefer to stay somewhere else if additional options are available at comparable cost.

I wanted a hotel close enough to NYC for business yet not the NYC prices. Edison Hotel worked out just fine. Clean, quiet, but without the amenities: In room coffee maker did not work and the TV got just a few basic channels. But no problem. I wanted and affordable place, clean, safe, and convenient. Free parking outside. Prices better than the national chains located nearby, and why so? I wasn't paying a corporate CEO or for a fancy ad campaign. Next visit to the NYC area will include a booking at the Edison.

Used this hotel to cut up the trip from DC to MA. Great for that, but not much else. The staff were friendly, but everyone seemed a bit weary and simply unable to help, though they tried. As well, it was hard to procure a luggage cart, so that made going in hard. As to the amenities, good for what it is. But the location is a bit set back, so it felt a bit unsafe when arriving there at night. No troubles at all though, just an ambiance.

Quiet, address is not the GPS address, call the hotel for GPS address otherwise you'll go on a goosechase. Nice rooms, bathroom... Nice lobby, etc. No breakfast ;-(
