We stayed in the yurt. It was comfortable and since we were there 3 nights we took advantage of the kitchen. The supplied breakfast was plentiful.

Couples escape

This lovely escape caters to couples. Very clean, peaceful, and relaxing. The owners thought of every little convenience. And the breakfast that they leave for you each day was wonderful. My husband and I will definitely return to the little yurt on the pond. A little slice of heaven.

Great Place to Stay

We stayed 15 nights in Alaska at 5 different locations. This was by far the favorite place that we stayed. Quiet remote location and the accommodations and hosts were great. Saw a mother moose and her calf next to our cabin and got some great photos. Our cabin overlooked a small lake in the rear with ducks swimming in it.

Beautiful room and Property

We stayed at the Moose Cabin and it was great! The owners greeted us when we arrived, but otherwise left us to enjoy the property. Each day they cleaned the cabin while we were away and provided tasty breakfasts to eat at our leisure. The cabin had many special touches and really showed much pride of ownership. We really enjoyed our stay here!!! It's more beautiful than the photos reveal.

Wonderful Stay at the Moose Cabin!

My husband and I enjoyed two nights at the Moose Cabin and loved every minute. Every detail had been considered and we had everything and more we could have possibly needed. The cabin was quiet and clean and we enjoyed watching the wildlife on the pond from the comfortable couch in the living room and from the huge patio attached to the cabin. We also took full advantage of the kitchen eating dinner in one night and breakfasts were fully stocked with everything you could need for breakfast; make sure to try the fresh danishes! Loni and Bruce were exceptional hosts and even let us know when there were moose on the property to see. If you are looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay while in Soldotna look no further. We were in Alaska for a week and this was by far the best place we stayed. Our only regret was that we didn't stay there longer. We will for sure be back if we make it back to Alaska in the future! Thank you!

Moose cabin

Thoroughly enjoyed our escape in The Moose Cabin. It was easy to find using the instructions on their website and conveniently located for days trips to Kenai and Soldotna activities. Items to make our own breakfast were provided daily. Kitchen had basic spices, cooking and eating utensils that we could have made more meals. Private dock adjoined our cabin with comfortable seating and a fire pit. Quiet and serene, exceptional hosts!

Little slice of heaven.

Arrived late from Anchorage, but it felt like coming home! Food in the fridge, a light left on for us and the property was just beautiful. So peaceful and Loni was the perfect hostess. Already planning another trip to this lovely property.

This place is wonderful. I love all the little romantic touches. It's supplied with everything we needed to grill up an awesome romantic dinner and I love the surroundings and privacy. Definitely a place we plan on going back to.

Best Place Around By Far!!

This is one of the most magical places to stay! The cabins are so clean and cozy! The views are amazing and hospitality is top notch! We stayed for 6 nights, 2 nights in the dragonfly cabin, and 4 in the moose cabin. We couldn't decide which we loved better! Very romantic and intimate setting as well! Great way to connect with your significant other! We are already planning our next trip and won't stay anywhere else!!!

Perfect any time of year

We honeymooned here in October and the layer of snow just made everything more beautiful. Besides the comfortable, cozy atmosphere of the cabin, it is wonderfully located for touring around the Kenai Peninsula. We did day trips to Homer and Seward to hike the glaciers and mountains to return to a toasty and well stocked cabin at night. Loni was very helpful and attentive!

Dragon Fly 12 and 13 OCT

This was just a wonderful place to stay. All the great hospitality and food was beyond our expectations. Loni is a great host. This was our 28th Wedding anniversary and this escape for two along with the romantic package I choose was more than I expected. Highly recommend....
