While the property itself was absolutely fantastic and we truly enjoyed the home, our overall experience was overshadowed by several issues and a lack of communication. During our stay, we only had hot water available in half of the house. Specifically, we were unable to use the master shower or the secondary shower on the top floor. While the home itself was beautiful and still livable, it was disappointing not to be able to fully use the property as intended.I do understand that issues can arise that are beyond anyone’s control. However, when we received notice regarding a gas issue and potential shutoff, the situation became very stressful. When I called to get clarification, I was told—abruptly—that our reservation had been canceled. There was no explanation, no discussion, and no offer to assist us in finding alternative accommodations.Each time I was able to speak with someone, I was simply told “I’m sorry,” and when I asked to speak with management, I was assured someone would call me back. Unfortunately, I never received any follow-up. Each interaction left us more concerned that our reservation would be canceled, and we would have nowhere to go.Given that this occurred during spring break, finding last-minute accommodations would have been nearly impossible. After our stay, I sent 2 emails asking to discuss our stay with management and again received no response from the property management team. The extreme lack of communication was and is so disappointing.
