1. The AC can only be turned on by pressing a button on an uninsulated circuit board hanging off of it 2. The carpet in the hallway has rips, dents in the floor, and dried up yellow liquid (assuming this was from someone throwing up) 3. Queen size bed was left with a single size duvet. Wasn’t enough to keep me warm overnight. 4. There were no toiletries (soap, shampoo etc.) 5. There were NO towels in the room

Overall good experience

Good location in the city center and only 3 minutes walk to Opalchenska metro station offering direct access to and from Sofia airport. Very friendly hotel staff. The room was clean and quiet, the bed was comfortable. The advertised "breakfast buffet" on the Hotels.com website and again on the booking confirmation consists in fact of a total of four items offered to guests : one hot drink (tea or coffee), one 500 ml bottle of water, one sandwich and one apple. Fortunately foodshops in the neighbourhood are available to buy extra breakfast items.

Very nice hotel, staff very helpful and good location. 10 minute walk into the main town. 5 minute walk to the metro which takes you right to Sofia Airport. We had a room above a seating area outside so was noisy in the morning but overall good hotel
