Property was beautiful. Only issue was kids not allowed in pool after 6 or 7pm. Hotel clerk recommended The Venue in Strandhill for dinner. Great seafood and best chicken wings anywhere.

Beautiful property. Newly renovated. Staff was very nice and accommodating.

Highly recommend this hotel- good location, great amenities, interesting history, friendly staff, food ok, great gym and real pool

Great place to stay, good location. Room was dated but clean. Staff were friendly.

This hotel is beautiful. The staff are very friendly. The only problem I could say that I had, was the restaurant service wasn't very good. They were pretty slow and the food was over priced considering what you get.

The hotel is housed in an 1848 building originally built to house the Insane Asylum. There are two chapels fromthe same period on the grounds which are very nicely landscaped. The food/wine service was a bit limited, but we were there before the tourist season had started so perhaps these are improved during full season. The service and front desk staff werethe very best we have had in all our stay in Ireland!
