Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport

Hope you don't have to check in on a Saturday night when they are having a Las Vegas theme wedding as you will have to pass through 20 or so smokers at the front door on your way to check in. The noise was so loud and the staff seemed to be busy talking to each other, we also could not find a quite seat to eat which after a long day of traveling was what we had planned. We stayed at a Clayton hotel in London and it was the complete opposite, staff were there to take care of the guest , great food and wonderful place to relax.

Very good would definitely stay again very nice very comfortable

NIce location to the airport. Excellent barista at the coffee stand- Rebecca- very friendly and made excellent coffee!

Great price for a very nice hotel close to the airport.

Excellent experience at the Clayton Hotel, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, the free shuttle service was very good, I very much enjoyed my stay at the Clayton Hotel

We found the hotel to be clean, and the room lovely and big for our family of five. Not many hotels will accommodate a family of five in one room, so I was really pleased by that. We will probably stay again sometime. We really enjoyed the breakfast selections. My boys especially loved the pancake machine! Unfortunately, the room felt a bit hot/stuffy, and there was no thermostat or heater that you could adjust. I tried opening the window but the noise from the nearby motorway and airport made than option an even worse choice. I was actually amazed at how much outside noise the windows blocked! However, we were also on the third floor, which must have been right above a function room, as I could hear the thumping of music from some sort of hotel party/disco until 2:00 am. My kids totally slept through it, though, so maybe I would have too, if the room hadn't felt so hot. To the hotel's defence, I didn't complain about the noise, so maybe they would have got the DJ to turn in down... I just didn't want my call to wake up my kids or get out of bed and go all the way down to reception.... If we book there again, I think I'll ask for a room higher up or away from the function room. They might even have a few fans if I asked...

Good for a one night stay near airport, could use another bus, they were full quickly.

The Clayton hotel is near Dublin airport. Free shuttles to the airport made it perfect for the end of our Ireland trip. There is a good gas station/convenience store across the street which came in handy. We probably have the best beds of our whole vacation at this hotel. We did not use any amenities other than the room.

The shuttle to airport was a huge help since we had an early flight. The prepaid breakfast was definately worth it, a lot of food and it was good and helped get us going for the day. The dinner was good but a little over priced. Room was nice but didn't find the bed was very comfortable.

Good place to relax very close to the airport and city centre.

This was our 3rd stay in this hotel and every time we could not be more pleased with the service and accommodations. The staff is excellent especially the manager and his personal who run the breakfast restaurant. The food is delicious, the rooms clean, comfortable and quiet. Best hotel ever!

Good shuttle service from the airport. Nice bar with excellent food. Comfortable beds. Very friendly /helpful staff. Would recommend!

We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The rooms are very clean, sound proof and have comfortable beds. Our room looked out over a pasture with horses peacefully grazing in it! The breakfast bar is the best meal we have ever had with fresh, home made products! Staff is friendly and helpful. Overall the best hotel stay we have ever had and can't wait to come back!

It was a quick layover in Dublin and this hotel was perfect for that. Comfortable rooms, free shuttle to the airport, and nice atmosphere in the dining areas. We enjoyed a very delicious breakfast as well before heading to the airport

2 adults and 3 children stayed in a triple room (1 queen, 1 twin, 1 sofa bed). We took the hotel shuttle to the airport and rode the public bus from there to get to the sites downtown (5-8 minutes to the airport, 30 min from the airport to town). Nice room, no smells, linens were clean, towels were soft. Shuttle from airport was free for as many trips as we wanted to take in and out. Breakfast buffet was outstanding. Our room's view was of a brick wall, but we had the curtains shut to sleep anyway! The only problem we had was the room was warm... even with the heater unplugged. We opened a window but the kids had trouble sleeping with the noise of traffic (but strangely no airplane noise). It was cold outside (March). We didn't call the desk about the hot room.

Great place to stay by the airport. Would recommend to others.

Great staff. Mariama in reception particularly helpful. My room was very comfortable spotlessly clean.

Though it was a trek to section 16 at the airport, it was wonderful to have a shuttle provided. The check in was easy and friendly and allowed us to prepurchase breakfast at a discounted rate. The room lacked a clock probably because all electric was shut off when you exit the room. Both my friend and I were surprised at how comfortable the beds were because they didn't look like they would be. It was a good value Breakfast buffet had variety but a lot of the stuff was out or no plates. The staff was scrambling the whole time to keep up. I would recommend this hotel as a good plCe to layover as we did on our travel back to the USA.

We use this hotel when taking early morning flights.. The existence of a courtesy bus to the airport as well as reasonable room rates are the main advantages of this hotel.

Hotel is in an excellent location, great shuttle service from airport to hotel 24hrs a day. Friendly and helpful employees. Lovely bar and restaurant, good food.

Dear Henry Thank you for choosing the Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport for your stay and for taking the time to let us know of your experience. We are very sorry to learn that there were issues during your stay. It is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve, but from your comments it is evident that the high standards that we aspire to were not met on this occasion. The only positive outcome from this litany of failures is, that we have now addressed the issues raised so as to minimize any future possibility of a re-occurrence. Once again I can only profusely apologise for the inconvenience you were caused. We hope it will not deter you from returning to the hotel where perhaps this could afford us the opportunity to win back your trust and goodwill. Kind Regards Ms Leslie Rogers
