Clayton Hotel Dublin Airport

Horrible front desk service. The lady at the coffee was so rude. Bar table service was horrible but worst was the room. Construction noise is temporary but the 5am wind tunnel from the hallway was scary. The smell in the incredibly dirty room made me green. No one would help because we booked through a website not directly with them. It is just a disgusting hotel with incredibly rude women working there. Never again will I or anyone I know stay there and shame on you orbitz for overcharging and getting us the most disgusting room in Ireland!

Perfect place if going to the airport, but there wAs the much to do around the hotel

close to airport. no a/c in room for those few warm days in summer

We didn't want to get up too early, so we booked here for our last night of relaxation. Perfect choice !

Nice place. Good food. Noticed parking is a nightmare. Shuttle run often but is at least 15 minutes to hotel.

Booked hotel because it had shuttle to airport. Got up early for shuttle. Was outside by 415am. Lots of people waiting when a 12 passenger shuttle showed up about 15 minutes later with about 50 people waiting. Finally after about 20 more minutes another shuttle showed up but still couldn't take everyone. Ridiculously long wait for shuttle that's supposed to run every 10-15 minutes. Not realistic when they can't take everyone each time. No fairness to who gets on, it's just who pushes their way forward first. Would not stay here again because of this.

Close to the airport Very comfortable Excellent breakfast

Stayed for a layover it was great, restaurants opened late to accommodate those traveling on red eyes looking for something to eat.

We spent two nights at the Clayton Hotel. First night my mum stayed also, I had a triple room. The room was very spacious and extremely clean and comfortable. No complaints what so ever. The desk clerk were so friendly and helpful with all questions or queries, especially a really lovely lady by the name of Leslie who took so much time to chat and help us. There was a bit of construction going on in the lobby but it did not interfere. Over all we had a very pleasant stay.

Hotel is pleasant, very busy, about a 10 minute ride from the airport. The room was comfortable, clean, and surprisingly quiet. No air conditioning, and the window only opened about 2 inches, so the room was stuffy. The beds have only duvets, no top sheets (normal for Ireland), so if you're a warm sleeper, it's uncomfortable. They did supply a fan in the room, which helped a bit. The buffet breakfast was ample and varied, although the wait to be served coffee/tea was rather long. Expensive if not included in your room rate. HEADS-UP: The hotel shuttle pickup is very far from the terminal and there are no signs for it until you are practically to it, so do your research before arriving at the airport, or contact the hotel. We had to ask another shuttle driver where it was.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was great. It was easy to get to from the airport.

Great friendly wait staff at bar and restaurant. Shuttle some distance from terminal so ask. Good experience.

I stayed the night here with my mother and brother before our early flight out the next morning. After arriving at the airport my mom realized she left her diamond earrings ( a 25th anniversary present from my father) on the bedside table in our room. She contacted the hotel immediately and they were able to locate them and will be mailing them back to her. I was very pleased with how they handled the situation and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for something close and convenient to the Dublin Airport.

Only a short stay; overnight before returning home to the states from Dublin

Hope you don't have to check in on a Saturday night when they are having a Las Vegas theme wedding as you will have to pass through 20 or so smokers at the front door on your way to check in. The noise was so loud and the staff seemed to be busy talking to each other, we also could not find a quite seat to eat which after a long day of traveling was what we had planned. We stayed at a Clayton hotel in London and it was the complete opposite, staff were there to take care of the guest , great food and wonderful place to relax.

Very good would definitely stay again very nice very comfortable

NIce location to the airport. Excellent barista at the coffee stand- Rebecca- very friendly and made excellent coffee!

Great price for a very nice hotel close to the airport.

Excellent experience at the Clayton Hotel, the room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, the free shuttle service was very good, I very much enjoyed my stay at the Clayton Hotel

We found the hotel to be clean, and the room lovely and big for our family of five. Not many hotels will accommodate a family of five in one room, so I was really pleased by that. We will probably stay again sometime. We really enjoyed the breakfast selections. My boys especially loved the pancake machine! Unfortunately, the room felt a bit hot/stuffy, and there was no thermostat or heater that you could adjust. I tried opening the window but the noise from the nearby motorway and airport made than option an even worse choice. I was actually amazed at how much outside noise the windows blocked! However, we were also on the third floor, which must have been right above a function room, as I could hear the thumping of music from some sort of hotel party/disco until 2:00 am. My kids totally slept through it, though, so maybe I would have too, if the room hadn't felt so hot. To the hotel's defence, I didn't complain about the noise, so maybe they would have got the DJ to turn in down... I just didn't want my call to wake up my kids or get out of bed and go all the way down to reception.... If we book there again, I think I'll ask for a room higher up or away from the function room. They might even have a few fans if I asked...
