This is a nice hotel and surprisingly quiet for being right beside the airport, but it seemed like it was style over substance in many respects. We had looked forward to relaxing in the pool a bit after check-in. But the pool is not actually in the hotel (it's in a different building across the street and you have to take your own towel when you go over) and it closed at 5:00 pm. which is around the time we checked in. The early closure may have been due to the holiday the next day, but the person at the desk didn't seem entirely sure about that. The lobby, the restaurants, and the furnishings all looked really great, but for a place that looked really nice, there wasn't much attention to detail. One of the lamps in our room didn't work, the battery cover was missing on the back of the TV remote, there was something going on with the TV reception and some of the channels would hang or pixilate, one bath towel was in the bathroom and the other was hidden away in a closet, the shower looked really nice but it was really hard to figure out how to switch from the shower wand to the rainfall mode. It wasn't a terrible experience, but for the price we paid (admittedly higher than usual because of the holiday) I would have expected more of the little things to be right.
It's an excellent option for anyone flying out of Dublin Airport on an early morning flight.

It was complicated to walk from the airport to the hotel and the shuttles in the morning were not organized, even though we scheduled the trip to the airport with the hotel.
Literally right next to the airport, shuttle service available, we couldn’t find it at the airport, is not where all the hotels shuttle are, is in zone 8 instead of zone 16, I have to call to the hotel to confirm this, after I wait more than half an hour at the wrong zone

Like many hotels, tthe staff is not well trained. The frintvdesk clerk said my room number very loud. I am solo woman traveller. When i protested, she said she never was told not to say tge room number aloud. I asked her to use her common sense. I am so used to be only shown my number. But I udually stay in Westins on business. Could not get a martini in the dining room, but there was a bar acoss the lobby...that I discovered later. Hover tge staffvwas very courteous.

If you’re transferring into or out of Dublin. This is a great location to rest your head for the night. Food at the restaurant was great and the beds were very comfortable for the 5 hours that I was able to enjoy them. Shuttle was right on time.
