Radisson Blu Hotel, Dublin Airport

4.0 out of 5.0

Recent guest reviews

we were just there overnight and the hotel staff and service exceeded my expectation. It all started from airport pickup, the hotel shuttle staff was very helpful on information how to get around to the Dublin city center and all the transportation available. The check in staff was fast and friendly and we were in the spacious and clean room within minutes of check in. Finally, the breakfast was excellent, it was more than what I've expected.

We've stayed here several times and have always found it to be well run and clean. Other than a rather weird shower, the rooms are comfortable and clean. The attached restaurant and bar is popular, and the food is good. The breakfast is particularly good, and I recommend it. It seems to be popular with groups and business travelers. The bar has a nice atmosphere, with televised games being broadcast in the background. The price is high, but not unreasonably so for the location and convenience.

Rooms are somewhat dated, but clean and comfortable. Hard to beat for location 2 minutes from the airport for an early morning flight the next day to avoid any traffic headaches.

Enjoyed welcome and friendliness of all staff. Great location walking distance from airport. Good parking beside hotel. At EU 7.50 a night, it was cheaper than others we researched

This was our third stay here, due to the convenient location and helpful staff. The parking fee is very reasonable for leaving a car in the car park, and the staff goes out of their way to be helpful. We aren't real thrilled with how the shower in the bathroom is set up -- you almost always end up getting a face full of water if you don't handle it right. That problem aside, the room was always made up quickly and everything was clean. We had one bad experience this time with the bar, when the waiter completely forgot about our order. The restaurant itself is good, and the breakfast is generally very good. I would recommend this as a clean, convenient and generally good location for anyone visiting Dublin. It's an easy walk to the airport, and taxis are readily available.

Only stay here if you have an early flight or quick layover! Clean but basic with nothing nearby but the airport

Stayed here for two days waiting to fly out. There is nothing around except Kealys, good rest. The place is clean, and will shuttle you to and from the airport. We took a cab to town and back. The cab ride to town was 38, coming back 21. I complained to the staff, cuz they park in front of the lobby. Anyway, nice place to stay

The hotel facilities were adequate, with a good restaurant/pub, good shuttle service for flights, and friendly, helpful staff.

Extremely close to the airport, walkable even, but still quiet. Good food and lounge.

This was my second time at this hotel. Be careful, some rooms are better than others.

You can walk to this hotel very easily from the airport i.e there is no need to wait for their shuttle bus. Seriously, just walk. Unless it's raining. But otherwise just walk.

Only stayed for 13 hours due to a long layover home. I thought the room was pretty shoddy compared to its counterpart at the Radisson Blu in Johannesburg.

One of the few hotels in Dublin that we've stayed at with soft beds. Very close proximity to the airport and the shuttle service was A+. No complaints here. Good value for money.

I was very happy that it was only a five minute walk to the airport. I also liked that they provided an early mini-breakfast that I was able to have before my flight. The day I flew into Ireland, I was able to check into the hotel at 8:00 am - very accommodating.

There are several hotels listed as airport hotels in Dublin but these hotels are several miles away. The Radisson Blue Hotel may be the closest to the Dublin Airport, close enough to walk in good weather. The airport shuttle which runs every 10-15 minutes makes the hotel even more convenient. My room was spacious. Both the restaurant and room service were good. Please note: There is no air conditioning or mini-bar in the room.

While the Radisson Blu airport hotel was very convenient, it is quite old and tired. The hotel's website states that they have complimentary coffee in the morning, which is untrue. The room was clean, but very dated, and the hotel was in desperate need of an overall refresh. I would not stay there again.

I arrived from a long flight and was tired and hunger. The kitchen in the hotel is only open till 10:30. I arrived just on time to order a meal but unfortunately was told the kitchen was closed and I had to order room service. After being told the room service menu was the same i felt relieved because i just wanted a healthy salad before bed. This was not the case. They only had pizza and refused to make any of the healthy options on the menu. Disappointment to say the least and no one was helpful or accommodating about the situation. Maybe I'm a typical American with high demands and this is Europe but it could have been handled differently.

Just across from Dublin Airport the hotel is very convenient with frequent shuttles to the terminals. Check-in was a little slow and there was not set line (queue) to organization purposes so you could potentially be checked in our of order from arrival in the lobby. My room was very spacious with floor to ceiling glass windows. The bath was rather small and I'm no fan of the small plexi-glass shields used to prevent water from saturating the floor when taking a shower. The reason being they simply do not work. The buffet breakfast was very ample with many choices and very delicious. Overall a good stay.

Very near the airport. Staff were friendly. I was in my room before check in time and that was great because I was very tired.
