Everything has been done top-notch. It's very elegant and beautiful. The bathrooms and bedrooms are all downstairs, which are pretty steep and 20 stairs over 4 flights. The bed configuration listed is not quite accurate. There are two king sized four poster bedrooms with ensuite. A double bedroom with dual aspect and an ensuite and a twin king room with access to the main bathroom down the hall but ist isn't an ensuite. The views from the hot tub are excellent but otherwise the outside entertaining areas are below the wall, which means you cannot see anything, which is a shame, lost opportunity. The yard area behind the hot tub could be decked and the outside tables put there for afternoon sunshine and excellent views. The fire is also very good quality and it was easy to light and plenty of fuel was supplied for the whole week, which was appreciated as it was unusually chilly. The downside is it is right on the main road, and the cars whizz past at ridiculous speeds. and the car-parking is up the road 30 meters so you have a walk to get your luggage. Otherwise being on the estate was fabulous and the discount at the Devonshire arms welcome. We enjoyed the brasserie so much we ate there 4 times in the week and each meal was fabulous. Highly recommended.
