Staff were very friendly. It’s a great pub, busy with pleasant customers, the beer is good (but all Timothy Taylor’s…in case you don’t like theirs..) We went out into the town and came back and ate our evening meal in the pub. There’s a fair bit to do in skipton - we were just there overnight. If you like a local pub, the accommodation and staff, and whole set up is just perfect. The rooms are pretty small, but fine if you’re just sleeping and showering…. Highly recommended if you’re a traveler that likes to stay in pubs…

Staff were fantastic, very welcoming as we arrived slightly earlier than check in time. The gent from the bar explained all the parking facilities and provided us with a token for the barrier for the car park at rear of the pub. He also provided fresh chilled milk for our room. All other staff were professional, polite & friendly.

Fabulous as always, staff, food, selection of beers and rooms excellent. Stayed many times and will be doing so again. Just bear in mind, if staying in room 6 or 7 they are on to the High St so can be noisy, especially on bin day at 6:30am!

Parking is an issue, we went to collect a token so we could enter the car park, to find there were no spaces. We were then told to park in a public car park several streets away at a cost. This is not mentioned on the website. The room was fine, the shower room very small. The kettle would not fit under the tap in the sink. The bed was very comfortable. The evening meal was very bland, little or no seasoning. The room over looked the street, which was extremely noisy until after 2am. So a very poor night’s sleep. Breakfast was average. No dairy alternatives available. Will not stay again.

A great 2 night stay at the Woolley Sheep with a compact, warm and comfortable room, great staff and a fantastic breakfast. We have stayed elsewhere in town on previous visits but this will be our go to in future. The central location with off street parking included is unbeatable. A special mention to Wayne and Drea for their contributions to our excellent experience.

I mean, what can I say? Absolutely everything was wonderful. The venue itself is beautiful (I’ve actually made mental notes on the beer garden to replicate part of it at home. It was very busy and very vibrant BUT the lady behind the bar took the time to explain to me ALL SIX of the available Timothy Taylor ales in draft. The room was lovely. The bathroom was great. I slept great. A perfect room in a perfect pub and WE WILL BE BACK.
