This is my 3rd time to Singapore and i stayed in this hotel in Oct 2017 for 3 nights.I always used to stay pretty close to MRT and this time it is 10 minute walk from chinatown MRT. This is the only negetive if you are a traveller, else this hotel is great. Checkin time was 2 PM but i was allowed to do early checkin at 12:30 PM without any charge.This helped us to relax after a long journey from India. Rooms were pretty clean,View from my window was very nice.The size of the room was very good.There are wardrobes in room,safe deposit locker,Mini fridge.Towels are changed everyday. I will come back to this hotel again.I strongly recommend.
This hotel is in a great location near china town and clarke quay . Rooms are clean and Beds are comfort . But we are not happy with the check in time as staff handling check in very slow and so complicated on assigning room .Breakfast is very normal and same menu everyday .
Stayed three days with a group. Small rooms, small bathrooms, but adequate for a few nights. Ideally situated close to China Town. Great hawker food outlets, cheap eating, cheap beer 5 mins walk from Hotel. The breakfast included was miserable and not a great selection, & not hot, baked beans etc in bainmarie luke warm Great shopping in this area, if you are a shopper. Hotel night club ba prices over the top!
This hotel was clean and located close to China Town allowing access to many sites around Singapore. The towels were changed everyday and the bedding was clean. The shower was glass and the toilet so it was see through- there was a blind though so if travelling with friends you can have privacy. Overall a good hotel for the money.
Staying this hotel for 1 night, they have free parking lot, but not much parking lot if you came late. Room is small, but is enough for two person. Walking distance to Chinatown. The breakfast is nice and the service was perfect.
We booked total 4 nights, in the 1st night, we told the staff the shower fail to provide hot water, they came up and stay outside the room and said I need to turn the shower on and wait for several minutes, and claim the water will getting hotter in a few minutes, I finally wait for at least 10 mins to have the water turn hot. Furthermore, I also complain on the water pressure, it is too low that I don't think a hotel should offer such a low quality bathing experience to customers. And the staff told me every thing normal without coming in to check the shower facilities. It seems I am very annoying and too demanding. The room.i stay doesn't look the same as the photo in expedia too. It looks smaller and in different design and layout. I request to change the room due to the poor shower. However , the hotels look full booking On the other day, I remind the receptionist to check the shower again when I go out for shopping. However , when I back at night, the shower didn't improve. I called to request changing the room again. This time they allow me.to change. The new room looks the same as the photo in expedia finally. I go to check the shower immediately, and it obviously works much better than previous room's. However, the room has a lot of ant/insect on the table and floor. When I laid on bed, something bite on me and bitr on my hubby's face as we. We request some one come to change the bed sheet, pillow sheet...etc. 2 men comes, and looks very impatient to help changing the pillow and bed sheet for us. They even blame me and my hubby eating something wrong that makes our skin itchy. I explain to him it is impossible , as the skin looks obviously bites by insect. And they find they the bed and said no insect is.found. They looks redundant to change the bed sheet for us. Upon further negotiation, they finally.change for us, but the staff do it with very bad manner, just like we are very annoying. After changing the bed sheet and duvet, we didn't felt itchy any more. On the last tine, we called the front desk to request for a folks /chopsticks for cup noodle at 2130. The girl at front desk claim they don't have any folks or chopsticks. BUT , I have the same request at the 2nd night, they did gave me the folks. I call again and told them the restaurant not yet close, why there is no folks?? She claims its already 2200, the restaurant closed and said it closed at 2130 (but your website said it closed at 2200). I told her we called at 2130, at the moment I believe the restaurant is still open according to the website. She is so impolite and not helpful. It is such a bad experience to stay in your hotel, dirty rooms, poor hygiene, and impolite and non helpful staff, and I would definitely NOT recommend this hotel to others.
Modern and clean with mini fridge and safe. The bathroom has a glass shower door which contains the water in the shower area which is great. There is a blind to pull down for privacy. Stayed 4 nights. Comfortable beds. Very friendly and helpful staff. Short walk through local market area to Chinatown MRT. I would stay again.
Just spent 1 night there. Basic hotel in overall. Nice location to walk around. Good breakfast and the service was perfect. The room was cleaned & hygienic as per standard. Would like to recommend to have a good layout night there but not to spend the time there.
Rooms were absolutely fine, not alot of storage but adequate. The shower room had everything required including a washing line in the shower. The staff were helpful and friendly. The daily fresh bottled water provided was very welcome. The bar was noisy with kareoke but friendly. The outside lounge was a nice place to relax in the evening.
Seacare is easy to get to/from the airport via taxi, also really reasonably priced at S$30. Great value for a short stay. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Overnight flights from Australia arrive at hideously early hours but staff happily took our bags and stored them for a few hours until the room was cleaned and we could check in. Seacare was beautifully situated to walk everywhere (which we did with alacrity). Particularly close to Chinatown and a short train ride to Little India and other neat places. Catching trains was terrific - don't be put off as it's easy. Rooms were usual standard hotel size, bathroom also small but adequate. Pleased to see the shower had a line to dry clothing. Every surface was wonderfully clean. Beds and pillows were really comfortable - an absolute must for us. The view was fairly ordinary but as we weren't in the room much, wasn't an issue. Room lighting at night is poor - made it hard to do any art but suspect that probably won't bother most people. Only one spot for a bag - we had a bag each so it was tricky finding space for them both. Didn't use the gym because walking Singapore is enough to wipe away any spare energy. It had minor equipment and would do the job for a basic workout. We'd stay here again and will do on our next visit. We loved Singapore and its people (and food)! Thanks Seacare :-)
