We were greeted upon arrival by courteous hotel personnel. Check in was a breeze. Room was spacious with a gorgeous view, sustainable with complimentary water tumblers made from sugarcane. We stepped out for the Night Safari and when we got back, the blinds were drawn, lights dimmed and the scented candle was lit. Talk about taking the extra step! Breakfast was a good selection of different cuisines. Upon check out, Sophen took care of us by booking their driver to take us to Mandai West since we wanted to visit Bird Paradise. We didn't have to worry about our lugagges since she also took care of that. If you want a relaxing place to stay in, with an easy access to the Mandai zoos, this is definitely the place to book.

This hotel was truly exceptional. An easy 11/10 experience. Our room was immaculate and offered the most breathtaking view imaginable. The entire property is surrounded by lush, beautifully maintained greenery that makes you feel like you’re in the heart of a rainforest retreat. Having the zoo right next door was the perfect bonus; it was chef’s kiss in every way. Each morning and night, we were serenaded by the natural sounds of the rainforest, which made the stay feel incredibly peaceful and immersive. The staff went above and beyond; warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. Every interaction made us feel cared for. I would return in a heartbeat. This place is a gem.

The good - unique and quality room fit-outs, tranquil views from room, lovely surrounds, good quality breakfast and the swimming Pool itself was great. Being a fairly expensive resort option - the place could improve on - more chairs around the swimming pool (there were 10 chairs all up, and there were always guests unable to find anywhere to put their towels/belongings by the pool (lockers were available for valuables in the change rooms, which I think was the resort’s compromise). Customer Service was a bit lacklustre/unfriendly; and room service was slow - we had to wait 80 minutes for chips and had to follow up 3 times. Then just partially cancelled the order.

The hotel aesthetics is awesome. Check in was smooth thanks to Ka Woon who explained everything clearly. The sanctuary double double was spacious for a family of 4, and the view overlooking the reservoir makes for a great photo opportunity. The resort is connected to the zoo with only 1 bus stop (free shuttle available) to the bird park. This makes visiting the park convenient as we do not need to worry about the kids fussing. Special mention to Wichai and Joanne who welcomed us during the stay. They were very attentive and provided exceptional service. Also thanks to James who assisted with our luggage and helped to direct our cab driver on how to get to the resort. Although it was an ad-hoc stay for our family, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves!
