Decided on staying at Le Meridian Sentosa for my first staycation at Sentosa for my birthday (8 May) and it was a wonderful experience largely due to the staff, who upgraded my room and because of that I literally felt like a princess. :) The complimentary birthday cake that they gave was yummy and big too - most other places would just give you a small slice! Breakfast spread was a hugge variety - we couldn't try everything - there was simply no space in our stomachs! The staff at the breakfast section (doing the laksa noodles) was great too - he noticed us and approached us when we were feeling very lost and overwhelmed since it was our first time there. Thumbs up and I definitely wanna stay here again for my next Sentosa staycation! :D
This hotel is very well located for ur trip to sentosa and universal. It's just opposite the imbiah rail station which makes travelling very convenient. Also the merlion statue is just opposite to the lobby. Beautiful sight to see. Also the price is reasonable and the buffet breakfast was good.
We had a terrific experience here. Booked a Merlion Heritage room and it was perfect. A little pricey, but Hey, it's Singapore! Every service request was completed in minutes, The morning buffet had enough good food and options to keep you there for a month. Right across the street from the free monorail. I will return!
Location is great. You are right by the merlion and the Imbiah station, which provides a great connection to the rest of the island. However, if you are looking to walk right to the beach, this hotel is not the right one. There was a bit of a hiccup at checkin and they claimed they were overbooked and wanted to move us to another hotel (in the city, which we declined). Subsequently, they found a room and also gave us a breakfast voucher which compensated for the unpleasantness at checkin. Room was nice, but we faces a big construction site. So you would not want to keep your curtains open. The rooms facing the Merlion would be a better choice. Nice that the bathroom has a huge tub, and also a separate shower area. SPG gets discount if you order drinks at the bar. Great deal.
Stayed for 9 days. Was upgraded to an executive suite for my Platinum status. Room was spacious. Bathroom is amazing. The hotel staff is among the best I have seen. The front desk (Sarah?) is amazing and very helpful. The housekeeping staff is friendly and efficient. Whenever I asked for a bucket of ice, it arrived within minutes. Conveniently located near the Merlion plaza and Imbiah monorail station. Short walk or monorail ride to the beach. Only disappointment is the lack of an executive lounge. Even without a lounge, hotel should still provide cocktail hours for platinum and suite guests. Or at the very least, to offer a complimentary drink. Some of the staff says that they are working on it. Hope to see a lounge on my next visit.
We stayed in the Heritage Room and it was one of the best rooms we've ever stayed in. Very modern European interiors and a lovely bathroom. The hotel has a great pool and the restaurant is decent. It is a 2 min walk to Imbiah station, which offers a free train ride to Beach station and Waterfront. This makes the location fantastic. The other wing of the hotel is run down and badly maintained, however the Heritage wing is really nice. Le Meridien has recently taken over this hotel, hence the management is still transitioning.
Perfect location next to Imbiah station. Just 10-15 minutes from city center with a metro. Very comfortable hotel with a friendly staff. Tip: book a Merlion view - it is worth it. The rooms without a view are also very nice. Thank you for the welcome fruit plate :)
This is my 5th stay in Le Meridien and the reason I keep coming back is because this is on one of the best hotels to live in on Sentosa. It is located in the centre of Sentosa and just opposite the Sentosa Express which makes it really convenient to get around Sentosa. There is a lovely view of the Merlion from the hotel and you can also choose the Heritage Merlion Rooms where you can see the Merlion from the comfort of your room. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from Resort World Sentosa (RWS) and I like the fact that it is near to RWS but yet you are away from the crowds that tend to throng RWS. I was made to feel very welcome the moment I entered the hotel. The porters, front desk staff and restaurant staff remembered me and my family and made it a point to greet us and some even greeted me by name. Even the housekeeping staff remembered us and our preferences and she gave us our preferred tea on her own accord and told us how happy she was to see us again. I was really impressed and touched by this personal touch provided by all the staff of Le Meridien who made us feel really important and welcome. My top compliments to the staff for their excellent service. On my previous stays I noticed that water tended to seep out of the shower stall and made the toilet floor wet and slippery. I gave my feedback about this and I was very impressed that the hotel has paid attention to feedback and now they have built a little ledge which prevents water seepage. The heritage room was really comfortable and beautifully restored. The only minor grouse I have is that sound proofing is not so good and sometimes you can hear some noise coming from the corridor and neighbouring rooms. Also during meal times I can sometimes smell the food being cooked in the restaurant on the ground floor. I did not get to savour the yummy breakfast this stay because the hotel room packages no longer come with breakfast included. It's a pity because I really enjoy the breakfast served at the Latest Recipe restaurant but on the plus side, I get to sleep in. Hopefully in future there will be room packages with breakfast included. I was also a little disappointed that the hotel stopped providing the floral slippers that matched with the floral bath robes and now we only get the regular white slippers. There used to be very comfortable thicker bath robes that were provided along with the floral robes, but unfortunately they are not available this time round. I feel that this hotel lacks a lounge where guests staying in suites can go to for breakfast, tea and evening cocktails. The hotel will truly be perfect if there is such a lounge. Overall I strongly recommend this first rate hotel and I can't wait for my next visit.
Heritage room great for family and 1 kid. Nice swimming pool and service. Away from the touristy lobby of RWS. Service was good and food delicious. Room service sends food fast and hot food! Room was very clean and housekeeping very prompt.
Our kids love the pool as its not too deep and very nice the breakfast buffet is the best, it has a lot of variety and also the food are very delicious we stayed at the family room with 2 kids and it has enough space and also looking at the meridian. it is just right opposite to the sentosa express station ( 1 min walk) which made our stay very convenience
