Bear Mountain Lodge is a beautifully appointed, quiet, comfortable retreat surrounded by 180 acres of wilderness. The staff was wonderful in every way. Breakfast was a work of art, as tasty as its presentation. No question we shall return if ever in that part of the country again, but we will plan to stay several days,

A medical issue raised its head when I checked in. The care and support I received went well beyond any call of duty. The place is beautiful, curated with quality art throughout. The room was like a luxurious home with a balcony over looking a vast expanse of nature. The breakfast was delectable. But above all of this, in the words of AmEx commercials — the sense of security and care was priceless. Such good good people. My deepest gratitude.

Just 17 minutes away from downtown Silver City you will find a gem to stay at Bear Mountain Lodge. It is a historic property, excellently maintained and run in a very friendly manner. They offer breakfast and dinner, and the culinary experience was above standard and delicious. The rooms and bathrooms are very spacious, clean, and well appointed. The bed was comfortable, which is something not always the case at hotels. We were very pleased with our stay, and plan to return in the future.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is beautiful. The breakfast was excellent. Very beautiful scenery but overpriced and we didn’t like how the room had no tv, no microwave, no fridge. I want it to feel like a home away from home. Way overpriced for just a bed and bathroom.
