Okay for a one-night stay, not for three nights. Good shower area, but no shower mat - dangerous for older travelers. Supplied soap, shampoo, etc. excellent and copious. Excellent king bed, but no end tables on either side. No telephone. Curtain is not “blackout”, so the outside really lights up the room. Very nice owners. Very affordable rates for a short stay. Holiday Inn Express it is not
The Drifter is a step back in time literally with its old motor court design. No pool now unfortunately, but a nice patio area sits on its former site complete with depth readings on the edging. Staff nice. Pet friendly with a minimal upcharge. Clean room, comfortable bed, crappy TV interface, clean and nice shower and bathroom. Well worth the price paid and I will return again.
Older property, but rooms kept in good condition. Older desk and chairs in room, but properly maintained and cleaned. Parking was a little rough, but decent.
It was convenient for what I was in town for and the price was good. I had a small dog so I needed a place that allows dogs but not super expensive. The room was a bit dated and smelled weird. The beds were comfortable and linens super clean. Bathroom was very clean. But - the beds were very dirty underneath - a bowl of cereal, dirty sock and nasty kleenex. There was dried up food under there too. There was dog poo mashed into the carpet which I reported right away because I didn't want my dog blamed for it. Basically, you get what you pay for.
Great beds! Very nice owners, very helpful. You can order your own breakfast at the restaurant next door, and it is free with your room. The heating fan is very noisy as is the bathroom fan, also no microwave. Overall very good for the money.
Older motel that has some upgrades. The office is crowded and not organized. No information on how to get onto WiFi was provided.
This old property is under construction. The apparent new owners don’t seem to know what they’re doing. Our room was so small it could not hold the king size bed. We could not walk in front of the bed at the same time. It was that tight. It’s old. There were spiders crawling on the ceiling. The grounds are disgusting. Very dirty outside. Very run down exterior. Worst experience in a hotel room in I don’t know how long. Yikes!! Never again. I feel sorry for the new owners. They seem like nice people, but they need someone to help them figure things out!
Walls, flood and windows very dirty. Bathroom appeared clean. Bed was okay. Had to move from one room due to bad smells (old smoke and maybe mold). Old smoke smell was in 2nd room also. Air conditioning very minimal. Filters either very dirty or not present. Place is getting face lift room by room but does not appear that the mechanical systems are being updated. Very unpleasant stay. People very nice. Good breakfast.
They had trouble finding my reservation made online, shuffling through papers for a long time. Manager came, found it and was nice. A perfectly OK motel, clean, minor disrepair in bsthroom.
