We stayed here for 3 nights while we were in town for a family party. The rooms appear to be newly renovated. Management is very friendly and attentive. We appreciated the free wi-fi and free Keurig in our room. I loved the Bath and Body Works products in the bathroom. Breakfast was okay, but it was free, so I feel we can't complain too much. My parents were staying in a different hotel and upon seeing our room and amenities, they wished they had booked a room at this hotel. If we are in the Santa Clara area again, we will definitely book this hotel again.
This hotel has a smaller parking lot but is still a very nice check in experience. I'm a Spire member and while I opted for the points I still got a bottle of water and a granola bar. The room was very clean when I walked in and it was definitely recently renovated. The TV has several AV input options. There are Outlets built into the headboard also. There's even a rollaway table under the desk. The bathroom was very clean and I'm very happy with this hotel.
The rooms were clean and the staff was accommodating. Rooms were fairly quiet. We were there for a quick overnight trip. Breakfast was a standard continental breakfast. Free parking and wifi. Location was close to visit Santa Clara University.
Stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip with a colleague. As we were travelling to various meetings in the San Jose, Palo Alto, San Mateo and Snata Clara areas, we simply needed a base nearby. The hotel was easy to find, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. The front of desk staff were very helpful. Breakfasts were simple, but a good choice in a buffet style. The hotel is located a couple of blocks from a small shopping mall, and there were a couple of Korean and Japanese restaurants nearby too, but we found an absolute gem about 3 blocks away: Andy's BBQ rib shack. As the hotel doesn't have a bar or offer evening meals, we were looking forwards to a cold beer and some decent food... And we got this in abundance at Andy's BBQ. Overall, this was a decent, simple hotel with very helpful staff. My room was at the front of the hotel, and there was some traffic noise evident early each morning. We used Uber the whole time we were here, and found it so easy getting around.
The hotel is amazing and i really liked my stay... the breakfast options were not as good as other holiday inn properties but still it was manageable.... the rooms were big but other facilities like gym etc were not working... anyways, the stay was comfortable...
Thus Holiday Inn Express us a smaller version with a much larger one several miles away. We ended up here and the staff couldn't have been more accommodating. Friendly and willing to go the extra mile to make sure their guests are happy. We arrived late and my husband was flying in even later and had a miserable experience at the previous hot where he stayed in Washington, with construction and back hammers pounding at 3:30am.all night so he was not able to sleep. And looking for some rest . The rooms were recently renovated and the second and third nights we were upgradef to a king room. We were very comfortable and the room was quiet and had s lovely time.
After a long road trip, all we wanted was a quick check in to get into the room and relax. We got that - and a whole lot more. After checking my name in the roster, I was handed a welcome brown bag with a bottle of water, a nutrition bar, and a welcome note. It was a simple package which means a lot. Check-in took about 2 minutes after which we were offered freshly baked cookies and fruit. A huge shout out to Kristy who welcomed us warmly and Mary who multi-tasked by assisting Kristy while attending to a client on the phone. The room was very comfortable, clean, and equipped with top-of-the line fixtures, outlets, and charging/connecting jacks. It was very convenient to charge our gadgets and use our devices. Critical to me is an outlet very close to the bed because I sleep with a CPAP machine. No problem in this hotel. There is a coffee maker, micro, and fridge. The bathroom is fixed like a store window where towels and sundries are aligned perfectly. The breakfast room is neatly arranged and very generous. There are omelettes, sausage, hard-boiled eggs, a selection of bread and pastries. Healthy choices included yogurt, egg white omelettes, milk, oatmeal. The list goes on. This is a hotel that takes pride in their business. This is mirrored through the warm welcome, personal touches, and clean environment.
I don't often stay at HI Express - but this location was better than I expected. First I was greeted by Kristy at the front desk - who was very nice and helpful. Next - my room was decently sized, clean and comfortable. Looked fresh and bathroom was extremely nice. Nice TV with plethora of channels. If I have a complaint - it rained while I was there and I was awoken at 5am by the bellowing sound of water going down and out of the gutter drain outside my room.
Family had a day in San Jose and booked into this hotel in Santa Clara. Location: not exactly in San Jose but not very far away. Easy drive and easily accessible. Near to some shops and Target. So, pretty convenient. Hotel: A bit old but definitely good with the right facilities including a small pool. It was a tad too cold to swim. :) Service: Simply great. People were friendly and helpful. Check in and out was quick. Wifi: good speed Parking: Very convenient Breakfast: Good complimentary breakfast. I had this booking with breakfast and they acknowledged it, unlike my previous stay at Monterrey. Recommended for a stay if you want convenience and comfort stay in Santa Clara or San Jose.
Stayed here for 2 nights on business. Hotel was very nice and clean. Breakfast was decent standard HIE items. Staff was friendly as well. Fairly close to the airport. Parking was good as hotel was not full. Get a room away from El Camino to avoid some traffic noise.
