It was a decent room except for the bugs. Also, the don’t respect when you have a DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door. I work night shift with a service dog. So when they knocked, he barked. Not at all happy with hotel.

Staff was amazing! However room looked clean, but after pulling blankets and sheets down I surprisingly discovered dirty sheets with some type of bugs on them. There were roaches everywhere including in the beds, kitchen area, and bathroom. It was not a very good experience at all except for the guy at the front desk.

Upon arrival, the room I was given had problems: there were cockroaches scurrying about in the kitchenette area. Plus the room smelled like a smoker's room, even though the room sign stated it was smoke free. Not a good way to start! I went to the on-site manager and explained, and to his credit, he was very accommodating. He gave me another room, and it was better: no roaches, no smoke smell. The bed mattresses had zippered mattress protectors (good! bed bed prevention) and the shower was very good: ample hot water, good water pressure. For the budget price I paid (about $68), this hotel was acceptable.

Appears to have been recently remodeled and updated. The room was fairly clean but could use a few cosmetic touches. Staff was courteous. We were only there for one night but this would be a great place to stay for an extended time as it had full kitchen amenities. No breakfast but the cost of the room made up for that. Hardee’s is within walking distance. We would definitely stay here again.

Wouldn’t recommend

Black mold on the floor and in the kitchen cabinets. The little kitchen area was nice to have. It had a fridge, oven, kitchen sink, cabinets, etc. It wasn’t very clean though. It seemed kinda dirty for sure. The pillows were paper thin, we froze because they only had duvet covers but not an actual blanket. And to top the cherry off, we were extremely busy preparing for the wedding when the guy kept continually calling asking when we were coming to check in. He started at 10am and kept calling throughout the day. I explained that we were setting up for a wedding and it’s a busy day but we would be coming to pay. He spoke a very poor version of English and kept calling back throughout the day. Finally around 3:15pm (which is only 15 mins after check in is even allowed btw), I sent my mom to go check in and pay because he wouldn’t quit bugging us. Overall, kitchen was nice. The rest? Not so much. We won’t be staying here again that’s for sure. We and two rooms side by side and both were in poor condition. People around us lived in their rooms as a home which makes sense to me as to why there was mold.

This hotel is located in a very good spot in Jackson Missouri is very clean. It’s very quiet easy to get to the stores.
