Quality Inn2.5 out of 5.0

When we first arrived at this motel we thought it was closed because they are renovating the place. They still have a lot of work to do on the corridors so when we were there, they looked grim. Thankfully once inside our room it was clean and welcoming. I do hope they do something to the flimsy bedroom doors because to close them you have to slam them and therefore if people are coming and going early or late you do hear the doors bang shut. Some door closure dampers would be beneficial as part of the motel refurbishment. The breakfast area was clean and the choice was the usual good quality offerings one would expect from a Quality inn. There is a small pool area but along with the other renovations I hope they add some new pool side seats as the existing ones are old and there aren't many of them. The only other slightly off putting aspect of this motel are the people sitting around in the corridors and stairwells playing on their laptops etc. We concluded they were staff who had finished their jobs but hadn't gone home, we were a little nervous of them at first. The location is good for quick easy access to the freeway and there is the lovely Bozeman Trial Steakhouse restaurant right across the street so although this motel is on the edge of town you don't need to go far to eat.
The price was good. Easy to find. Older designed but very nice. Room was big and clean. The beds were too soft. The breakfast had many good offerings. Shower pressure was adequate. The staff was friendly.
Ww stayed here one night while passing through the area as they are pet friendly as well as an exterior access facility. Our room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was very clean and the vanity had a large countertop for toiletries. There was ample grassy area for our dogs to exercise. There was a breakfast bar which included hot and cold items. We would stay here again if in the area.
We chose this place because the eclipse was happening the next day and we could not find a hotel room in Casper. We have stayed in Buffalo before and just love this town. We got a room on the first floor next to the pool. The room seemed clean, the bed was a little springy for my liking, and the kids say the pool was nice. This hotel is with in walking distance of good places to eat and a truck stop across the street.
We had stayed in Buffalo a month earlier and at a different hotel. When we choose this one we were hoping for a little better update. Our room was fantastic. The staff was professional and helped in many areas, We were here for a couple of nights and the breakfast was hot and on time. We liked they started serving at 6am even on the weekend. That helped us in getting on the road early. We liked the cleanliness and the cost was very reasonable. I would recommend to stay her as a one night or multiple nights. Walking distance to nice restaurants and services.
This property is undergoing renovations with many rooms already done. There is some visible construction stuff going on but it doesn't interfere with the comings and goings of guests. My room was clean and had two queen beds. One comfortable and the other needing a change for sure as it's very unevenly worn. Bathroom sink area had plenty of counter space as did the tub/shower with plenty of ledge space. Good water pressure, though toilet was almost right up against the wall, which was very odd. Room also had a fridge and microwave and flat screen. Breakfast was decent with hot and cold options. Wifi was fairly good. Staff somewhat friendly, and generally helpful. A smile wouldn't hurt, folks, just saying. An overall good stay.
Clean and spacious updated rooms, comfy beds, nice outdoor pool area, and a good breakfast selection. I am known to be a "picky" person about hotels and this one was great and exceeded our expectations for a "budget" hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful. Also, randomly, they had the most delicious breakfast potatoes.
First issue right off the bat, arrived at room around 9pm, wanted to give our young son a bath. Went in the bathroom to draw the bath and found the bathtub filthy (with chunks of hair in it), had to scrub and clean the tub before I could put our son in it. (I immediately went to the front desk to report this issue-and the young man at the desk (with accent) was nice enough to take $20 off our room. I returned to continue giving our son his bath only to find the tub WOULD NOT HOLD WATER!! This was VERY frustating to say the least! (I had to leave the water running for his entire bath as everything we tried would not work to keep a tight seal with the plug) During the entire bath there was never more than 4 inches of water in the tub!!! My parents bed (closest to the window in Room 108) had a big dip in the middle (I've read this on other reviews so I am not surprised) Dip would roll you right into the center of the bed (Mom had issues with this and her bad back) this was reported to the front desk attendant as well. On to morning cartoons for our son, the tv kept reading "You have not subscribed to this channel) after a visit from the front desk (Cassandra visited us and fixed it) Thank You Cassandra!! Breakfast was nice (eggs, sausages, waffle maker, cereal, fruit, yogurt). *I did find the toaster (left side) would not heat up, put my English Muffin thru twice on Level 5 highest setting, after two tries the muffin was still as cold as it was when it went in. The staff is friendly, but I think there needs to be a lot of things fixed. (Also, was surprised to not have a fridge for the amount of money the hotel cost)
I made reservation through Priceline, which I forgot only guarantees bed for two. When we arrived in evening with two tired adults and two cranky kids, front staff was gracious about switching us to room with two queens. Thank you, thank you! Hotel is currently undergoing decor/style renovation. What's completed is very nice. Less charming upstairs, but friendly service, working ice machine, and quieter location more than made up for this. I wouldn't hesitate to stay again or recommend.
Not terrible, but nothing spectacular. Staff is friendly and polite. Breakfast bar is the usual simple hot bar of sysco eggs, sausage, toast, cereal, waffles, yogurt, coffee, and juice. Rooms are dated and need a little tending to. Simple things like cleaning the air filter on the air conditioner and adding a shot of draino to solve the slow draining sink go along way. In summary... spend the extra 40 bucks and stay at the Hampton Inn or the Holiday Inn Express as they are much newer, nicer, and worth the little extra money.
