Second stay at Ritz Carlton Shenzhen. Elegant hotel in centre of CBD. Very attentive staff .. in particular Jack at the front desk. Nothing was too much to ask for . Restaurants are excellent. Curve bar very convivial Ideal location for CBD Will definitely be returning .
I rarely write review for my stay, but this time I feel compelled to share. I stay in Shenzhen Ritz-Carlton for my weekend trip and their hospitality and services went way beyond my expectation! As a platinum member, I received upgrade for my booking in advance. The room was huge and clean, loaded with welcome dessert and fruits as well as special decoration. The check-in process was smooth and efficient with assistance from Duty Manager, Jack Lian. The atmosphere and food variety of the lounge was excellent. Breakfast was great in terms of both taste and choice. I also like the convenience of transportation around the hotel and that shops and restaurants were within walking distance. Overall, there are many good aspects to share about my stay. Just want to highlight some with my thanks: Mr. Chen (hope I don’t spell his last name wrong), the cleaner I met in the changing room of the swimming pool was very helpful. He provided advice on choosing the best time slot for enjoying the facilities and proactively offered direction and assistance when he observed my needs. The lady at the Spa counter was also considerate. She prepared ginger coke for me as the temperature of the pool was relatively low at night. By the way, the design of the swimming pool was like an elevated forest at the heart of Shenzhen. The view of it is was certainly special. Jodie Ye, supervisor of the hotel, was super attentive and considerate. I am more than impressed by the personalised arrangement before and during my stay as well as the surprise prepared before my departure. Carey Shao, another Duty Manager, responded to my email swiftly and heightened my expectation as well. I tried to remember names of these staff I came across as I understood each of them contributed to my experience which was absolutely first-class. I felt spoiled. I can’t stop speaking of it to my friends today. I will be more than happy to recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those looking for a stay of uncompromising service quality and personalised assistance.
Really???!! After repeatedly telling the clean Lady that people are using men 's bathroom, the lady still insisted going in (for cleaning), really???!!?? This is Ritz Carlton policy in SHENZhen? Shocking!!! Do they have proper training at all???!!
Nice and helpful with Phoeby’s help at biz centre. The whole hotel is a little old and it only has outdoor swimming pool which is not at stable temperature. The ball room is good, however, the hotel accessibility is complicated. Very hard to find a way especially in the function rooms floor.
I just stayed one night in Ritz-Carlton hotel Shenzhen. The lobby is not really grand, however, the staffs were excellent . When I stepped in to the hotel, a girl came up to help me to check in. Very efficient and then took me to my room. She’s very nice and chatty. Welcome fruits delivery after a minute. Although, my room assigned face to the main road, it still very quiet bed is very comfortable so I had good sleep. Didn’t have time to try their breakfast. Next time for sure.
I am always welcomed back by name and they always remember my preference. If you need or want something , just ask, They are always helpful. The team at Flavorz restaurant are great (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Great gym, spa, and pool. The rooms are comfortable and offfer a great work area. The staff is super helpful and they are all willing to go above and beyond.
We love to stay at Ritz Carlton club lounge in various cities in the world due to its famous tailor-made service. I want to share my excellent experience about it. This time, we only focus on full relaxing for the weekend, and we made a trip to Shenzhen from HK. Although, it’s very tired to get through all crowded Metro stations and boarder, however, when we got in to the hotel lobby, it was so nice to have chilled sweet welcoming tea first. I’d like to express my gratitudes towards the distinguished staff. Firstly, Angela greeted us all the way up to the club lounge and brighten up our mood. Thank you very much for that. I want to express all my gratitudes to Eric and Serena who are staff in club lounge. I can say Eric and Serena represents what is Ritz Carlton service. They treated us like a King and Queen, always asking us if we need something more. I understand Saturday is busy day of hotel, but they were really sorry for crowded club lounge. Especially, Serena took us to the downstair and showed us the way to our next day hotel, and hoped see us next time as well.
This is one of my favorite in the world! The staff was extremely helpful and pleasure to communciate with. The front desk girl, Jessie Zhang was extremely helpful and nice when I ask for service. She reconized me from my previously stay and called my name correctly. She even remember that I was expecting a baby on my last stay and asked how was the baby! That make you feel very warm and welcome! When she find out that I have some local friends coming over to visit me in the hotle, she offfer a welcome fruit basket and bottle of red wine for our gathering. That was very nice and my local friends were very suprised with that warm gift. When I check out the hotel, she also thank me for staying with the hotel and also said she is expecting my next stay and hope will see my new born son as well. This is the type of service that I do expect from top hotels and Ritz SZ does it well. In the club lounge, Serena and CiCi and Cindy was extremely helpful. They welcome me with warm smiles and provide excellent professional services. I had to conduct an employee interivew there that day, the meeting room was taking so I had to meet my candidate in the sofa area. They offer me a quiet area and make sure that I was leave alone for the inteview. That went well and couldn't done it without their help! The Itlanian restaurant also provide excellent food with great service. The fish I had was fresh and tasteful. I will go back to there for sure. At last , you will always see their General Manager , Mr. Dietschi, always on the floor to greet his guests. I see him stand by the front door to greet custoemrs, he also at Italian restaurant during lunch time, you can also see him by the flavor restaurant at dinner time. And by the fix cafe at late evening. He always there to make sure his guest is being taken care of and also thank them for their visting to the hotel. He also make sure that he shake hands with as many people as he can and thank them in person. That shows he care for his guest and also employees. What a leadership. So, staying in his hotel, you will get nothing but a great service and respect that you might not get at some other hotels!!!
Every time I walk in and stay at the Shenzhen Ritz, no matter how short or long I always get treated and receive service that is the absolute best possible. I always check in at the Club lounge on the 26th floor and everyone is always glad to see me and I am always addressed by my full name! House keeping service is always excellent and I receive fresh cut flowers and a welcome note!! The Club lounge is always a great place for either breakfast, lunch or dinner and cocktails or just water, juice or soda water. They also have a juicer, so I always have fresh vegetable juice in the morning with my breakfast!!
This was our 4th summer staying at this hotel. My children look at it as our back to China for the School Year tradition and the staff never fail to disappoint. Christine, Annie, Venus, they are all wonderful. Rooms are clean, food is good, staff are friendly, drinks are tasty. They treat my children like little princesses. But this year the staff were exceptional. Our plane arrived from the USA about 11 pm and we checked in after midnight, at 7:30 am we got an call that my MIL had to have life saving brain surgery and the doctor was "calling the family in". This was not expected, we were in shock. In stepped the Ritz Carlton Staff. The staff found a car to get my husband across two borders to Hong Kong, and a ticket on the next plane from there back to Atlanta in a matter on minutes. It would have been impossible to do this this quickly and cost effectively without their help. They didn't take no for an answer and just made what ever needed to happen happen to get him to the hospital in the USA. He did make it and the doctor's credit his arrival / presence as a large part of why his mother is recovering (slowly, but recovering). We had to cut our stay short this year, but as long as we are in China this will always be "our hotel"
