do not stay during winter monthes

Will not stay in this hotel if the trip is winter! The rooms have no heating system. I had to wear a sweater AND an UA ColdGear long sleeve shirt to sleep. The bed was hard (I actually prefer non-soft bed, so when I say the bed is hard, I mean back-killing hard.) For the price, I wouldn't mind terribly if my trip is not during winter month.

Not a good stay. The bathroom leaked in both rooms. Rooms had water stains on the walls. The beds aren't really beds just mats covered with sheets. Had to request for my sheets to be changed. Not a good place at all.

Disappointing Reality vs. Room File at Expedia.

When making the reservation, room specs say it has a Memory Foam mattress and mini bar...this was by far the hardest bed ever, not even close to being memory foam...the mini bar is 2 bottled waters and condoms in the corner of the room. When I complaint to the reception, when finally somebody that spoke English was available, their answer was "Expedia Lie"...I complaint to Expedia and just got automated replies that its not their fault. Besides that, clean room with great location and Chinese spa in the 3rd floor. Don't accept the rooms that face the main street, extremely loud from traffic.

My room was not as described no hot tub no memory foam, bedding old, smelt of smoke cleaning staff did not do a good job. I come to Shenzen quite often and have stayed at another one of the GDH hotel the Green Oasis in Baoan, Hotels are similar but cannot compete with Green Oasis for cleanliness. But for business it was ok. the location made up for the other bad points hotel staff don't speak English well but they do try.

Old rooms, damaged walls, no fridge!!

Hotel location is not bad and they clean it every day. However, the rooms are very old and not in good condition. Walls, water taps, tv, air conditioning and even towels are old! You have to pay for everything even water and tea or coffee. I had to pay for a water bottle that I didnt use! They said the cap was open while I didn't even touch it. There is no fridge!!

Shower room corners and sides full or mildew,same as sink area..Yaks!tried to use the rest room in the lobby area..Oh my gosh,almost threw up!guests smoking in the elevator...wifi ok,thats about it,bed,ok,no "non smoking rooms" disappointing,whole place stinks!

Great location

The Location was great. The rooms are large, with king size beds. The beds at this particular site are very hard, don't believe the hype! Other locations may be better. This Hotel has the same problem as most hotels in Asia, NO electrical outlet beside the headboard! I use a C-PAP machine to breathe at night. I had to buy an extension cord to plug in, while in China! I also had to use the extension cord in Hong Kong.

You can't beat the value. Free internet and Wifi in room. Wifi in lobby free. Large rooms with very firm bed! Room is cleaned every day. Basically a fast wash of shower/toilet/sink, sponge mop the floor(no carpeting - Bonus!), change the towels, make the bed, or change linens if you wish, empty the garbage cans. If you are looking for a place with spotless, gleaming showers, look elsewhere. Perfect location for business or pleasure. Convenient restaurants nearby and in building. Chinese style foods of course. Grocery store around the corner.

GREAT LOCATION

We are having a great stay. You cannot beat the price! One of the lowest rates in the city! With very large rooms and king size bed!. The local eateries in the area serve great food at very inexpensive Prices. Of course, if you want to pay a little more, you can visit a larger, fancier restaurant. I prefer the local Chinese food, cafeteria style eateries for their selection of great food and low price. Very simple. Dine where the local people dine!
