Rayan Hotel Corniche2.0 out of 5.0

Nice rooms and co-operative staff. Lobby boy was helpful every time he was needed. The location is nice - near some souks, a mosque, and a museum. A few minutes of walk will take you to places where you can enjoy local cuisine. They will take your passport to scan and will return it at the time of your checkout (when you pay your dues). They didn't tell me this and I forgot my passport at the reception when I checked in. I paid for the room in advance and collected my passport from them upon realizing. I read somewhere that they don't give complimentary water. They actually did provide water bottles in my room.
The hotel is location at the front of the Park. Corniche and the Islamic Museum is just little far away from the hotel. Rooms are small, luxury, clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly, supportive and always ready to help. Free Wi-Fi, tea packs but no complementary water; the only downside is that there is no Hotel Parking – you can park front or around the hotel which is chargeable; for free parking there are few plots available in that area – but if you are coming late night then it can be little challenging to find the space.
I have a concept of the perfect budget hotel, and this comes close to it. We paid about $37 for a clean, spacious, and stylish room that included a very comfortable king-size bed, a mini-fridge, decent lighting and AC, and other thoughtful amenities. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and well organized. The location is right off the corniche and a short distance to the excellent Museum of Islamic Civilization. The hotel also faces a pretty park, unusable during the intense mid-day heat (in late April) but packed with local children and fitness buffs at dusk. We had a good lunch at the little Nawab Indian restaurant across the park and walked (about 25 minutes) to a memorable Gujarati thali dinner at Geetar Vegetarian Restaurant on Al-Arooba St.
The hotel is located on the corniche. Rooms are clean and average size. The housekeeping services are prompt and good. The staff are also very friendly. It does not however have a restaurant or parking . For families would recommend suite for more space as the deluxe rooms are just enough for couple.
The only thing is bad at this hotel there is no parking so I parked my car almost half mile to find free parking, room was very clean and comfy and nice view from 8th floor, fast internet, quite inside. Really I enjoy staying in here
Rayan Hotel corniche is not bad place to stay and it is clean but the rooms are small even the bathroom,it is a quite hotel the hotel area is quite too,the bell boy Azharuddin is very helpful and kind person and he always smiling,in my opinion he is the best bell boy i ever seen in general the place and the price are good
This Hotel has a very new look n feel to it. Reception staff however was little rude and I didn't like the tone I was spoken to. Although this is a very good hotel and a reasonable one too but the problem I faced was the parking. There is no free parking at all and the paid parking are always busy. I had to park the car a little far from the hotel. That is why I limited my stay here from 2 days to 1 and hotel agreed to cancel without any additional charges. Iron board was not available when I asked so it was quite difficult for me to iron my clothes so better cover this aspect beforehand. A part from Parking this hotel is very good. I recommend it if you don't have any parking issues.
I am frequently visiting UAE and very often I stay at Rayan Hotel and that because of the good general conditions of the rooms with very reasonable pricing. And I want to thank Arshad the receptionist for his good welcoming and assistance.
When I first looked at the rating of this hotel ,it was high, i thought this cant be right but later found out it is right It is just a 2 star hotel but the stay felt more than that I was given an apartment type although i booked a room , which was good since i had a friend with me room 201 Very peaceful, quite, clean and very very spacoius We were given extra bed and placed in the dining room and it was for free free fruits and water The check in didnt take long The staff were very helful For god sake, the internet was free and strong Two things to be improved Tv channells were few It is very difficult to find parking lot
By far the best thing about this 2-star hotel was the location, (not to be confused with the Rayan Hotel) near the sea and located right next to the Museum of Islamic Civilization, which is a must see. The hotel is also across from a nice park and is close to three mosques, whose muezzin calls will wake you up around 5 a.m. The lobby is modern and welcoming, there is an elevator, and the rooms are spacious nicely furnished with modern, 4-star furniture. There are a number of restaurants close by, and it is an easy walk to the Old Heritage Area. The bed is large and very comfortable, with heavy down comforter and clean sheets. There is CNN and an English movie channel on the television. The only problems I had with this hotel were the hot water, which took a long time to heat up, and which was at times rust brown, and the toilet which would not stop running. Otherwise, a warm and welcoming staff made my 3-day stay enjoyable.
