Very good hotel, the beach, lobby's, the chill café and the restaurant are very nice. The hotel has very friendly staff too who are good at what they do, breakfast was very diverse and was consistently beautiful for our entire stay. The rooms though need a new look and new smell.
Everything was average and this is nowhere near a 5 star hotel. Restaurants served good food and price is not too deep. The breakfast spread was good. Air conditioning in the room was good. Safe location. No problems for families.
I just came from holidays from hotel Radisson Blue Resort Sharm El Sheikh, we are here second time, we were here in the last year, this place just falled in our hearts, the hotel is very beautiful, lot of beautiful decorations, flowers, very friendly and smiling staff, an unreal beautiful coral reef, we visited a lot of beaches in the city, and realized that in the hotel the most beautiful reef, I have never seen such an amazing, incredible variety of forms and colors of the underwater world!!! Special thanks to the animator team, all the guys are just amazing!!! Special thanks to the Mana, he is very cheerful guy, with a good sense of humor, very responsible in relation to his work, I tried to attend on all programs that he was conducting. Great thanks to the Nastya and Denis, very good guys, attentive and with great love treat to their work. Thanks to Rebeka, she is very kind, diligent and good girl. On the last day I went to the disco with the animators, I really liked it, the animators were very responsible to their duties, and everything was cool!!! I had get a lot of pleasure from the dance 😊 All animators guys are very funny, artistic, and just amazing!!! Such a friendly and fun animator team I have never met!!! We will definitely come there again, for us Radisson Blue Resort has become almost like a home, thanks a lot for the weekend full of positive emotions and impressions for all life!!!!
We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights to explore Dubai before flying on to Australia. The hotel reception area and lobby is lovely. We found we had been upgraded to a business class room which was huge, which was lovely. Breakfast on our first morning there was slightly chaotic to say the least, whether that particular day there were staffing problems, I do not know, but there was no tea or coffee at the hot beverage table and they had also run out of milk. The staff were running round frantically trying to get things refilled. Tables once vacated seemed to be taking an age to get clean to allow more people entering the dining area to sit down. So we did have a bit of a wait and then were dismayed to find the tea/coffee had run out. Anyway, it was over the Christmas/New Year period and the hotel was full, so I can only assume that was why. The next 3 days we were there, these problems were not as bad, and breakfast was a more pleasurable experience. The hotel pool and beach are lovely and the reception staff are also lovely. We booked to have the hotel's New Year's Eve gala dinner and the food was beautiful and stunningly presented. The hotel reception lady also advised us on things to do near by and she was extremely helpful. All in all we had a lovely 4 days at the Radisson Blu and would definitely book again.
Upon entering the hotel I was pleasantly surprised, the reception and communal areas all seem to be what you would expect from a +4* hotel. Moving onto the rooms, well we were on our 4th room less than 2 hours after checking in. Initially we were provided with a room which had no toilet paper, a window which would not close, stained carpets and dirty underwear and socks from previous guests left behind the curtains. COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE. Upon calling reception I received no form of apology and I had to ask to change rooms. The change of room seen us move to a ‘business class’ room which unfortunately I have no words for!!! A terrible damp smell lingered forcing another room change. This time we were shown to a room which housekeeping were yet to attend to from a previous checkout! How am I meant to tell if a room is of an acceptable standard when it’s still dirty, again not a level of service you’d expect from a ‘5 star hotel’. We are now in a room which is bearable however I do question why we would be shown to 2 other rooms first!!?? When we had checked into the first room we had ordered room service, mine being a rib eye steak which I had asked to be cooked medium rare but it arrived well done. Not a huge problem but what I did not expect was the chef to question me when I called to advise and tell me I was wrong!!! Anyway my steak was changed and cooked a little better however after the rigmarole of changing rooms obviously the food was then cold. I have now paid for food that hasn’t been eaten and I’m past the point of hunger. At no point has a refund been offered for the food! As it’s night time now I am yet to be able to comment on the pool/beach area or breakfast but I can’t say I’m looking forward to it! Overall poor service and a very low standard of accommodation! I will not be back and would encourage others to look elsewhere
Hotel is very comfortable and quiet, excellent pools. My special thanks to Gigi from the front desk! He is awesome! From the very beginning me and my friends were offered courtesy upgrade but the main thing came later... During check out we found local taxi to airport and oooh... I lost my not very cheap pen in the car! What a disaster! I realised that only in airport! Without any hope (no receipt, nobody remembers taxi etc.) we called to front desk and Gigi promised to organise everything he can do. And what a surprise - after just one day my pen was found and handed over to my friends who were still hosting the hotel. Just to explain easy words behind the scenes - Gigi captured camera records, found taxi by registration plate, called, found the driver, organised transfer of pen, pre-paid for delivery to driver and handed it over! Just amazing! The best service I ever met! Thank you so much! :)
This is my second stay in Radisson Sharjah and for sure not last one, still satisfied but couple of things have changed from our previous stay. We were placed on the 10th floor, room was renovated with beautiful view of the sea. We were a bit unhappy with the food in the buffet, the choice of the dishes at the breakfast was very limited and lack of the fruits was very surprising. The hotel has very big and green territory which this time looked a bit unkempt. Hotel provides shuttle services to couple of locations which is very nice but on the weekends they occasionally come full specially the city center sharjah bus it seems these buses are rounding to couple more hotels before getting to Radisson, it should be organised better. The poolside area of the hotel is amazing with friendly lifeguards. The service in the whole hotel is very friendly specially from GIGI manager at reception, he will solve any problem you have and will guide you in a professional manner to the city or interesting places to visit. Just one advice to the hotel and its management, it wouldnt be really great if there was any type of kidszone or something similar so that parents can take their kids in the evening. Thank you for the great holiday Radisson!
My husband and I travel all over the world for both business trips and also holidays and we have never ever stayed in a so called 5* room that is a disgusting as the one we were subjected to in the Radisson Blu. When we booked in we were offered a ‘Room Upgrade’ from the room that we had booked and paid for to room 1317 which is one of the rooms around the pool area. We took the so called upgrade thinking it would be nice to be near the pool area and the added bonus for me was the walk in shower because I have difficulty stepping in and out of a bath due to 4 prolapsed discs in my back. When we first looked at room 1317 all looked good, but on closer inspection the room is in desperate need of renovation and repair. The problems we found are listed below: The toilet seat was stained upon our arrival. See picture attached. The shower wall was mouldy and the shower cubicle smelt of mould. See picture attached. The mould/damp from the shower has obviously seeped through the wall into the bedroom area of the room. See picture attached. The soap holder in the shower was rust. See picture attached. The tap on the shower room sink is wobbly. The shaver mirror light does not work. Toilet does not flush properly and the water keeps running and the toilet cistern does not re-fill until you press the flush again to stop the water. The retractable washing line in the shower did not retract. The TV only had 5 channels not 46 as shown on the list in the room. The net curtain over the window is water stained and looks shabby. As well as the above there are issues with the outside area around the room. These are as listed: The outside roofing area of the rooms look as though they are falling down and look very un-kept. The stone slabs from the room to the pool area are cracked and uneven. I was very disappointed in the way the room was cleaned during our stay for the following reasons: About 4 days into our stay the toilet was smelling so I cleaned the toilet myself with the only antibacterial thing I had with me – Mouthwash, this seemed to stop the smell and the toilet smelt a lot better after I had done this. On one particular day our toilet rolls were not replenished so after a long day of visiting customers I had to go in search of toilet rolls in the hotel. There were dirty coffee cups left in our room for 3 days before they were removed and clean cups put in their place. The sink unit was dusty and was obviously not cleaned during our week long stay. See attached picture. Bearing in mind that our room was obviously not being cleaned thoroughly I saw some hair on the edge of the sink and decided to leave it there as a test to see how many days it was before the sink was either washed down or cleaned properly. 48 hours the hair was on the edge of the sink! See attached picture. I am not usually one to complain and if there was only one or two of the above issues I wouldn’t have mentioned it, but to be quite frank with you the standard of the ‘upgraded room’ and surrounding area is not 5* standard. I strongly suggest that you take this room out of service until all necessary repairs have been made as it is an insult to customers who have paid good money to stay in a 5* hotel and is letting the Radisson group of hotels down. I doubt very much if we will be choosing a Radisson hotel again in the future for any of our business trips (10 per year) or any of our holidays (4 per year).
It’s a very old hotel and rooms are outdated, they have really work on the bathrooms. Since promised my family about an outing had to go here as did not get any other place. Breakfast was good. The pool for the kids was good. Enjoyed some good mock tails by the pool. The wallet service was quick and taxis can be taken from the front entrance. There are plenty of food options just across the main road.
it was a very pleasant stay, and it was a very friendly atmosphere in the hotel from reception to the restaurant ,to the cleaning room staff who was smiley and cheerful. we wish all the best to all the staff.
