the Rooms are Awesome... the location is awesome everything about the Infrastructure is outstanding for an Express hotel but everything about the service is just way below Par... almost no one speaks English the one who does is not around you always need to translate on the phone... very adamant staff not willing to clean rooms after a particular time.... the common toilets stink of fish.... every one on the reception is a trainee who does not know anything.... even for a pre paid hotel booking they wanted a deposit
Very very very bad Only one person at the hotel speaks some English, and he is at the front desk, so imagine if you have any doubt at the breakfast, no one could help you. The breakfast was poor, not fresh and almost everything taste bad, we had to go the mall next door and have breakfast at Starbucks. The air conditioner never work, they toldo us they control the temperature, it was at 25° and we were sweding in the room, te rrible... The shower had fongus, this was a supposed new hotel... Wouldn't stay here, not even free
Very clean. Good service, High speed internet. Compact rooms, reasonable price. Especially Hot shower is so good. Normally in China, even expensive hotel also broken shower. But this hotel are perfect about shower. Breakfast also nice.
Cannot expect too much as it is not grand or luxury style. Rooms are clean but with the smell of smoke although it is a non-smoking room. I was told that hotel full house at the morning and request a high floor but failed... (perhaps fall into the exhibitions period) Hotel's located near the exhibition center but far away from railway and downtown. Also, it is hardly to call the taxi. Breakfast was OK fine. Average for business traveller.
I stayed there with my friends in mid of march. When we'd checked in, front desk offer us a smoker room which we are non-smoker. So we go down the front desk and requests another room to move. Having checked others room, we got offer to higher level suite which is acceptable. The cleanliness of the room is fair. The one need to comment is the location is not really good. Normally need take at least 15 to 20 mins by walk every time to go back hotel which i think its abit far.
We booked this hotel as it was close to hongqiao railway station and we had to catch bullet train early morning. Room was not much spacious but had all general amenities available. There was smoking smell in their room despite on non smoking floor Reception staff was good Breakfast buffet was average for a vegetarian diet.
This is the best skill of this hotel. For all the other points it is a medium level hotel. Medium breakfast (too much Eastern...) The rooms are quite clean, but there was smell of smoke even if we had a no smoking room...
Compact hotel , true to Express theme. Rooms were neat and well maintained though long corridors to reach rooms is a task. Front office not very well verse in English but quite helpful. Hotel is close to NECC. Just across the hotel is a local market,ATMs,KFC etc.Breakfast sufficient. Pudong airport is almost 70 kms from here.
It's one of those places that I do not know how to rate. It's clean and (what's most important for me) very close to Shanghai Exhibition Center. Everyone in the hotel tries to make your visit as nice as possible, but... - it stinks, as smoking is allowed (even if not allowed, no one cares about it) - almost no one speak English (except people at the reception desk) - but I know that it's a general problem - we had to take a double room with a friend - we got 2 separate beds, but the wall between bathroom and room is made of glass (opaque) but it's still not too comfortable situation - if I was here with my wife situation would be different That is why I give that place only 3 points
Air conditioning non-functional (room stayed at 27 degrees no matter what setting and/or mode the thermostat was set to). No fridge in room. Cleaner kept opening windows letting in mosquitoes. Glasses/mugs not cleaned. Some dirty towels removed but not replaced. Rude reception staff. No hotel bar/shop. Noisy location (surrounded by factories working 24/7). Unstable and slow wifi. Almost no information on hotel in room (not even check-out time). Expensive room rates for the class of hotel. Ridiculous laundry cost (6 polo shirts and some underwear cost more than 400 yuan).
