Stayed there 20.06 -21.06 Very friendly welcome and goodbye. The area itself is beautiful, very green and a lot of trees ,very nice. In the near surrounding you find everything you need for traveling, shopping cooking. The hotel is not in the best shape of the best times are over I think, but nevertheless i recommend to give it a try. The room is very tiny but OK for 1 person. I enjoyed my stay.
it could be an relaxing & beautiful place close to Paris , but really needs to be reformed; swimming pool and chic terrace, with a proper reform, could be an oasis to escape from the busy city but not to far from Paris, in only 50 min to an hour you find yourself there ....
Due to a problem with the airline I missed my connecting flight in Paris. They booked me in this hotel. The hotel was good in a romantic surrounding. It slept well and the breakfast was nice. It was a surprise to see this beautiful part of France.
For 77 euro including breakfast one doesn't expect too much. But the room was clean, the bed was good, wifi (slow) and even a (clean) swimming pool! The owners were very friendly indeed. Breakfast is a bit plain but very yummy French bread. Disadvantage is the noisy plumbing: whenever someone used the tap, toilet or shower in the adjacent room, it was clearly audible in our room. The strange thing about this hotel is that it looks like several families are living here long term.
2 night stay with departure in early hours 2nd night to catch ferry back to UK (3hrs away). Room was very clean, comfy bed, parking was safe and secure (important as packed from a season in the Alps), and the hotel / motel is dog friendly and no problem with one of our dogs being over 10kg which had been a problem at other hotels around Paris. Staff could not have been more helpful, and even ran me to the train station a few minutes up the road for me to make a meeting in centre of Paris (37mins to Paris Est) day return all forms of travel about 16 Euros. Motel located by a river which the dogs loved for their walks and our continental breakfast was generous and good value. Motel grounds are dated and in some places tired, located on outskirts of town, the room however has seen some modernization in recent years with updated bathroom equipped with comfy and clean bath with shower connection. The room rate overall reflects what you are getting, apx 70 Euro for 2 persons plus a small charge for the dogs.
We entered the area with some suspicion. The signs were old and worn, the garden had probably been beautiful once and the fully booked hotel presented an empty parking lot. The lobby seemed quite nice but our room had plastic panels, no space for the required extra bed, wasn't clean and wifi didn't work. The other rooms seemed occupied with more permanent residents, preferebly there because of social problems or newly immigrated. I had a bad feeling from start. The pool looked nice but, again, the surroundings looked probably nicer 20 or 30 years ago. When the handy-man had to get into our room to fix a leak in another room it was enough. We moved to another hotel. Only a couple of days ago we haven't got our refund but there were no question about that. At least one good thing with Acostel.
We really enjoyed our stay at Acostel. A short drive to the DIsney parks. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms basic but clean with lovely grounds on the riverbank. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable.
After a long journey from England, we were dismayed to arrive at this seedy, overpriced hotel. The children cried and we felt like fools for being duped by the online photo and description. Shabby is the word. There are hints of a grander past - large grounds, now left unmown and untended, a defunct slide going into the lake. There is no restaurant and no food. Our barman/receptionist/hotel manager, a rather sleazy type, found us some drinks and then sat down with his friend and had one himself with a cigarette. Our beer bottles were still there in the morning. The pool is freezing and the poolside area depressing. Is it disney's fault? This place should be very cheap!
went with my 2 daughters aged 10 and 17 had lovely relaxing week the girls loved the pool and the lovely grounds excellent service very accommodating with whatever u needed very friendly staff especially Aurelian nice clean rooms could go on and on but will just say was brilliant holiday thanks to the hotel acostel 10 out of 10 well worth a visit thanks
My son and I were welcomed beautifully and helped continually throughout our stay;I asked about restaurants locally and I was given full details including addresses; I asked about Euro Disney and print outs of directions were instantly printed; I also asked about a fridge for my room and the helpful receptionist sought one instantly. Thank you for such a caring and personal approach we experienced. Rooms were spotless and cleaned impeccably, daily.
