Overall this is a nice property but the bed frames and mattress in all the rooms need to be updated. Also, we were given the wrong code to access the property and we were standing out in the heat for two hours trying to get in.

Less than impressive

Outside of how nice the home is, and plenty of towels there wasn’t much else that’s good. Cobwebs all over the house, master shower didn’t work and was leaking, no soap to wash dishes, no batteries in the remotes. Moving blankets placed on beds, Very limited dish wear (2 plates, one cup,) for a house that’s suppose to accommodate 6 people there wasn’t enough stuff to even do so. I had to contact the owners to get the code to get in after check in time, as I was never sent anything prior. The house looks like it’s for rent and they use VRBO as another source of income in the mean time.

Frustrating

When we checked in, there was 2 cups left out that someone else used before we got there. The master bedroom was missing the tv where the tv stand is, the door that goes to the side yard from the master bedroom was unlocked, the shower in the master bathroom was leaking and had very little pressure, some of the outlets in the kitchen did not work, the dishwasher had no power and the towel rack in the guest bathroom was sitting in the sink when we got there. I sent a few text to the owner the last few days and did not get a response after talking to them on the first day. They said a handyman was going to come fix the shower and other things, but no one showed up and they never called the phone number that I gave the owners. I expected the owner to offer some kind of refund, but there has been zero communication since we checked out. We stay at VRBO properties 4-5 times a year and this was the first time that we have had problems like this during our stay. We had hoped they would have done the right thing and offered a partial refund and they did not offer anything and even worse, they never even apologized for the numerous issues. The positives is the house is in a great location for what we needed and it was an easy check in process.
