Not being familiar with Sedona, the location surprised me as it was several roundabouts away from Sedona in Oak Creek Village. Very good and very clean property and reasonable for Sedona prices. Yes, very white, comfy, interesting sheets! Simple room...we had the only accessible room in the complex on main floor with hdcp parking just around the corner from the room. Great walk in shower and good other accessible features. Best thing - great restaurant steps away for a yummy breakfast at Red Rocks Cafe. And a block away a top drawer Italian restaurant for dinner! And even a grocery store very nearby! Everything one needs for a two day stay at reasonable rates!

I first have to say something about the bed sheets!! They were wonderful! I know that's a weird way to start a review but those sheets were so comfortable -- really different type of weave that I've never seen before. I even mentioned it to the desk clerk when checking out -- he didn't know the name of the sheets (I wish he had known because I'd seriously be interested in purchasing a pair.) But back to the review -- great little hotel - very clean and quiet. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast but highly recommended the Red Rock Cafe. It's an easy walk from the hotel and well worth the walk with a 10% discount if you mention the hotel.

On a last minute trip to Sedona I booked at Desert Quail because of the price. I was surprised by how new everything was. The bed was clean, the pillows were amazing, yes amazing and the bathroom fixtures were new. The location is right as you enter Oak Creek. I personally liked it because you are out of all the traffic and it's 10-15 minutes to downtown Sedona. Overall this place is a great value. The Red Rock Cafe is a great breakfast spot right behind the hotel.

This is a cozy motel on Rt 179, the main road into Sedona. One thing that may not be clear is that this motel is in the village of Oak Creek and not Sedona itself. Downtown Sedona is about a 20 minute drive from the Desert Quail Inn. That being said, there are a number of shops and places to eat in Oak Creek that are within walking distance. The Red Rock Café is right behind this motel and is great for breakfast. Famous Pizza is just up the road and has a wide selection of craft beers. Our king room was quite large, comfortable, and updated. When booking my room I put a note on the reservation requesting a room with a sofa bed. The manager made a point to email me saying they do not have rooms with sofa beds unless I upgraded to a fireplace room. The person checking us in upon arrival also told me this. I opted not to upgrade, however when we got to the room, it had a sofa bed (but no fireplace). Not sure where the confusion was. At any rate, the king bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. My only complaint was that none of the outlets on the bases of the bedside lamps worked so I could not charge my phone there. We did not use the pool but did walk by it. It was a small pool at the end of the parking lot with a separate hot tub. Overall, this was a good stay and I wouldn’t mind staying here again, although next time I may try to find something closer to Sedona.

We stayed here 3 nights during our visit to Sedona on the way to the Grand Canyon. The staff here is helpful. Rooms are large, comfortable and clean and have adequate amenities (iron/board, hairdryer, fridge). This is a quiet area outside of Sedona in Oak Creek Canyon so we were a short drive to see all Sedona has to offer but got to go back to a nice quiet place to sleep. Also, on the way to Sedona there are many pull offs to see the beautiful mountains and walk on the hiking trails. Behind the hotel is a grocery store and restaurant and there is plenty of shopping and dining within walking distance. The pool is on the small side but enough to be able to cool off. When we were there it was a bit chilly at night so we didn't swim in it but used the hot tub instead. The only negative I found was that the beds were just a bit uncomfortable for me as they are quite firm. Other than that it was a great stay and I would stay again if we are in the area.

Very comfortable rooms clean, newer remodel. Small pool area but ok. Recommend for sleeping rooms etc, not hang out. In heart of oak creek village walk to lots! Great restaurants nearby, shopping, across from outlets.

We picked this hotel for the price and convenient location. Right in Oak Creek Canyon, beside an awesome grocery store (talk about convenient) and just minutes from everything. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was decent and free. I would highly recommend staying here unless you want to spend a lot more money.

This spot is quintessential motel, but that is perfect. Easy to get in and out of, extremely reasonable prices and rooms that don't feel like you are at a motel. Walking distance from great coffee (Oak Creek Expresso) and dinner (PJ's). I would recommend this spot without reservation.

I stayed here for 2 nights in May, 2017. At check in, I was given a map of Sedona and even told was hike would be good for us. We wound up taking their advice and it was a beautiful hike. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. Has a small pool but i didn't go in. There's also a supermarket and bank just behind the hotel.

We stayed here for multiple night during out time in Sedona and were pleased with the location as well as the amenities. The room was comfortable and everything worked as expected. It is walking distance from the main grocery store and several restaurants. There is also a pool/spa area for some pleasant downtime. It is about 10 minutes away from downtown Sedona and honestly a lot less hectic. I would stay here again.
