We were pleased to find this place. We have not had good luck with hotels lately. This was a really nice room and very clean, even in the nooks and crannies. We are not a fan of air conditioners and this room had a ceiling fan plus an air conditioner. The fan kept the room a perfect temp. Comfy bed, nice sheets, refridgerator and microwave that worked great and were clean. Lots of towels and quiet, too. We had a great stay.

We stayed here for a couple nights on our road trip, and certainly enjoyed it. The beds were comfy, the rooms were clean, and the pool was wonderful. The staff was very helpful, and you get a discount at the restaurant in the plaza next door, which is a great bonus. The rooms are large, and even though there was a large group of guys a few doors down, we couldn't hear anything from them once they were back in their rooms.

My husband and I were on a budget this year and wanted to celebrate our 20th anniversary in Sedona. After reading a lot of the existing reviews for this property, we decided to stay here and were VERY PLEASED! The rooms look like they have been recently updated - the bed was comfortable, the cable TV channels were abundant, and the place is quiet. Because the hotel is in Oak Creek Canyon, you don't have to deal with all of the traffic of Sedona AND there are a lot of great hiking trails nearby. You MUST eat at the Red Rock Cafe in back of the hotel because the food is TO DIE FOR. You get a 15% discount there if you're staying at the Desert Quail Inn, too! Also, Pago's Italian Restaurant (also within walking distance, up the street about 1/8 of a mile) is FANTASTIC. This is our new go-to hotel in Sedona, for sure!

We decided to go to Sedona on the spur of the moment, and almost all hotels were booked. We consider it fortunate to have been able to get a room at the Desert Quail. The room was clean and the beds were quite comfortable.

One night stay while on road trip through AZ. Great staff, room clean, bed very comfortable. Quiet location outside the crowd. Grocery store close by. Great coffee shop/bakery less than a block away -Oak Creek Espresso. Would definitely stay again.

If you are looking for a nice hotel, this isn't your place. If you are looking for a nice place to sleep, for a good price, and don't mind a little traffic noise, this is your place! The towels were nice and thick, good water pressure, really nice size rooms, and good location not too far from downtown Sedona. It is right next to a busy street so there was some traffic noise. If you request a room near the pool/back you may have less noise than we did. Our toilet had a drip so we had to shut the bathroom door, but other than that it was perfect for what we needed it for. Oh, and the view of the mountains from our side of the hotel was a nice perk!

Spent 1 night on way to Grand Canyon for spring break. This was outstanding stay for us. Staff super helpful and friendly, rooms basic but clean and comfortable, good linens and nice decor. There is even a pool but it was too cold outside to use. Location close to forest service visitor center, several nice hikes and good breakfast spot. About 15 min from downtown restaurants. Sedona hotels are painfully overpriced, but this was a great deal and worth it. Would definitely stay here again.

My friend and I had the pleasure of staying recently. Nick was very accommodating and our room was wonderful! It was missing a hairdryer and Nick jumped on it, my stay was so awesome that I have booked a room here for my husband and I’s Anniversary in October. Thank you so much for a clean nice home away from home. :)

This hotel appears a little worn on the outside but it is clean and comfortable on the inside. Great eating establishments within short walking distance. Staff was kind and helpful. Great views depending on which side of the hotel you stay on.

The rooms are clean and comfortable. Even though they have exterior doors, the rooms are very quiet. The mattresses were too firm for our taste, but I guess that is a matter of personal preference. The Red Rock Cafe, which is right behind the hotel, is a great place for breakfast and there is a coffee place right next door.
