Staff was super helpful and nice. They know the area well and give great recommendations on places to go. We booked a room with the fireplace. Room is super clean and have all the amenities we needed. The bed is firmer than most hotels and that's what we love about it. We were so rested after staying one night there. This hotel is at the downtown location with a lot of restaurants close by. I prefer downtown than uptown. Even it's touristic with other hotels in the area, the restaurants and shops around feels less of a tourist trap. Definitely worth the price and I would say this hotel is as nice as most 4+ star hotels I stayed in! Also, you can sit at the chairs they have in the hallway and just soak in the view of the red rocks!
Quiet, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. From the inn, it's a short (10 minute), scenic drive to downtown Sedona, where you would pay a lot more for a hotel. This inn is not fancy, but it had everything we needed, including a large TV, small refrigerator, microwave, good air-conditioning, water pressure, plentiful towels, and clean, crisp sheets on a comfy bed. The room was spacious enough for a small sofa, coffee table, desk and chair. Stores and restaurants are right nearby.
This was a nice little hotel very close to the road and also in walking distance to restaurants and walking paths. The room was clean and comfortable with all amenities, a very good shower, comfortable beds and free Wi-fi. There was also a pool that the front desk clerk said was heated. We however did not try the pool. No breakfast was included in the price, but there was a cafe close by that served good breakfast and gave the Desert Quail guests a 10% discount. We will consider staying here again.
Great place to stay for an out of town traveler. I loved Sedona, my favorite city I have ever been too--I have been to many. The manager was very kind, and the location was surreal; you are just five minutes from the famous Bell Rock, which is ideal if you are hiking. And, it is only a 10 minute drive from the main part of town.
This is a clean, comfortable place to stay while visiting the awesome sites of Sedona. It is away from the what is the central area of Sedona, just a short drive to reach the main shops and restaurants.
My wife and I stayed at Desert Quail Inn for three nights in October. Our room was reasonably priced, exceptionally clean and quiet. Our bed was comfy. The owner was very attentive and responsive, fixing our TV immediately as soon as we noted a reception problem. We recommend Desert Quail Inn and will definitely return to this place the next time we're in the area. One last thing to note: Delicious, reasonably-priced breakfasts can be had at the Red Rock Cafe, which is through a rear walkway and a few steps behind Desert Quail Inn.
Without question, I would stay here again and highly recommend this Inn for the person(s) who do not have a huge budget but want to feel safe, comfortable and require/desire basics. Cozy, comfortable and friendly staff. No issues with the WiFi, room amenities or staff what's so ever. If you're taking any tours and being picked up be sure to stipulate that you are at the Oak Creek "Desert Quail Inn". We had a rental car but only use it minimal as many things are either walking or tour company's will come get you. If you do desire to drive, your located 15-20mins outside of where Sedona is officially. Again, great place to stay if you want to keep it simple.
This is a nice, quiet, clean and inexpensive motel. The WiFi works well. The maid service is very good. There is no kitchen in this motel, but there is an excellent restaurant next door (Red Rock Cafe). You should note that the motel is in the Village of Oak Creek, about 7 miles south of Sedona. This was not an issue for us as we were touring the locality. I would stay here again.
Loved our stay, nice and quiet just what we needed after a day of flying and going to the Grand Canyon. Great price! This is a picture from outside our room. Completely surrounded by red rocks. Plenty of places nearby to shop and eat.
A lot of people travel with pets these days, I get it, but its so nice for those of us with allergies to find a hotel that specifically doesn't allow pets. The room was clean and comfortable. The shower and bathroom was great. It was close to downtown, but still very quiet. Will definitely stay here again! Loved it!
