Residence Inn by Marriott Bellevue Downtown

Recent guest reviews

the front desk staff, especially Shameeka, were gracious, helpful and always willing to help in providing whatever was needed, and beyond... The shuttle ran often to downtown Bellevue for restaurants etc, and when done, would pick you up within 10 minutes.

Would have rated everything 5 stars except for 1 hotel staff member that needs to learn what customer service means. We ordered some food Thur the bar tender(very friendly and helpful) to eat in the lobby. The food was good but what I didn't like was that when he served out food one piece of fish(fish and chips) and onto his tray which had numebrous stains on it. He asked me to grab the piece off of his tray but I asked him to get another piece due to the condition of the tray(dirty). His response was that it just fell off the plate and nothing is wrong with it, so he refused to get me another piece so I told him I didn't want it. No apologizes from him and he just walked away saying something under his breath(didn't under stand what he said) and as he walked away he threw it into the trash in the lobby. I went to the front desk to let them know and the server did walk by us but didn't say a word. That was the only negative to our stay and I would recommend this hotel to others but maybe don't order any food.

I was very pleased with the entire experience. I would stay here if my path crosses again and I will consider other Marriotts as well.

Perfect location! Close to many of the attractions without the noise and heavy traffic. Great walking trails around the hotel and a good breakfast selection.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious with a small kitchen area . The staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. I also ate at the restaurant and was pleasantly surpised with a really good meal served by a very friendly and courteous bartender/waitress. The free breakfasts were outstanding with a great variety of hot and cold food. I would go back sithout hesitation.

I had room 602 which is anice room but it faces the Interstate Highway. Even with double pned windows, the noise of trucks on the highway waked me up. I asked for a room away from the highway but I was told that none were availble. Note: rooms in from face other half of building or highway-no view.

the hotel was comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful

Staff was helpful and nice the room was comfortable

Nice room beds are little hard everything was clean close to Seattle we rented a car 20 min to Pikes Market

The first thing I noticed was the hotel's proximity to the freeway, which can be either good or bad. I'm a light sleeper so I had my doubts, however, my wife and I slept very well and could not hear any freeway noise whatsoever. The fact that the Marriott Residence Inn is located about 15 minutes from downtown Seattle, actually makes the freeway a convenience. The expanded breakfast, the Xboxes for the kids, the full kitchen are all nice touches and allow this hotel to stand out from the normal 3-star hotel experience. Another nice touch that this hotel offers is the Dinner Delivery Plus. There are over 70 restaurants that will deliver any food you order, straight to the hotel. Talk about convenience! The staff was both friendly and accommodating and enhanced our stay. And lastly, the price was more than appropriate for such a pleasant place. My wife and I will be back in the Seattle/Bellevue area again shortly and this is where we will be staying. All in all, you can't miss with this hotel. I highly recommend it!

This hotel is near downtown it's really big with full kitchen and swatting area large bathroom and has the toilet and shower in a diffrent room then the vanity. I would stay there any day felt right at home!

Should've picked up on it sooner but this Res Inn is more of a regular hotel than condo style Res Inn that we expected. Very good service but room was tight. No outside seating or pool outside. No fireplace or bar to sit at. Breakfast was very good. Didn't partake of dinner offerings because local restaurants prevailed. Staff were very courteous. Extra $12 per night self-parking came as a surprise.

We stayed here over the labor day weekend. The accommodations matched the perfect weather. Some highlights: * Nice accommodating staff * Clean comfortable room * Great breakfast bar - slightly different each day * Family friendly * Only about a 15 minute drive to Seattle (your mileage may vary on weekdays :-) A perfect location for taking in Seattle, Olympic Peninsula, and Mt. Ranier

This is a great hotel. Location wise, it's just off of the 405 freeway and access to the hotel is quite easy. While easy to access from the interstate, it isn't really located close to shopping or dining but if you have a car, you can drive up to Bellevue Square or the downtown Bellevue area. They also have a free shuttle that will bring you places within a 2 mile radius, but we did not use that service. Parking is a bit of an issue at this hotel when there are alot of guests. We arrived after 10:30pm on a Sat, and the underground lot was almost completely full. I was lucky to get a spot though but most of the parking spaces are very narrow. So, for those of you that have larger vehicles, you may want to beware of that or park across the street at the park and ride lot, which is free. Check in was relatively quick and friendly. If you are driving, make sure you check in first as you will not be able to access the underground parking without a room key. We had breakfast at this hotel both the mornings that we were there. Selection was good. One morning we had: scrambled eggs, hash browns, make your own waffles, rice, miso soup, bacon, toast, pastries, fruits, etc. There was also a good selection of drinks: milk, 3 kinds of juices, hot coffee in pump containers, water The room was comfortable and had a mini kitchen and table, pull out sofa bed, and large bathroom area. We stayed in a studio with myself, my wife and little boy sharing a room. If you are using the pull out sofa bed, it's not the most comfortable way to sleep and you will also have to find a place to put the large 1 piece seat cushion, coffee table and pillows. I moved all the excess into the kitchen area. The single chair in the living room also reclines. Look for the switch on the right hand side covered by the arm rest protector. The Wifi was strong and we were using 3 Wifi devices. Also lots of power ports in the room to plug in your phone, ipad, laptop, camera charger, etc. I didn't see an ice machine, but the fridge makes ice. The 32 inch tv had both sd and hd channels but only my little boy used it to watch cartoons in the morning.

I come there because of travel with my friends. This is very nice and cheaper hotel.

This is a nice hotel. We thought it was very nicely decorated and the lobby/breakfast/lounge area was very attractive as was our room. Our studio was kind of cramped, especially when the sofa bed was pulled out (you had to climb over it to get around). Our room was cold, so we had to request an extra comforter (for the sofa bed) and blanket, which was sent up. There is only a microwave and no oven, but otherwise the kitchen is adequate. It's right off the freeway, so not within walking distance of downtown, but I liked being near a park. You can easily avoid the $10 parking fee if you park in the park n ride across the street. Pool was nice, but no spa.

This hotel is very clean and well maintained. The beds are not "heavenly" like other Marriott properties. I was disappointed in the "very large" dogs that are allowed to stay in hotel rooms on all levels, and walk "in" the property. I have never seen this at a downtown hotel. Small dogs are usually allowed everywhere now, but not 100 lb. dogs. The barking was very annoying and some dogs were threatening in demeanor. In addition, many people appear to be living in the hotel, full-time, appearing in pj's at breakfast. They also charge $10 per night for parking which is not usual at a Residence Inn.

My wife and I had a vary nice experience on the night that we stay for 2012 new year's eve. Good soundproof between rooms, pets friendly but with some extra service charge, free sutal service get you as far as Seattle downtown, breakfirst were great with lots of choises. Best of all: Free internet with both lan & wifi connection. The only down side was pay parking. Over all we would certainly recommended to others for Seattle area hotel.

This hotel was great for my travel needs. Good location, easy access to freeways, friendly staff. The breakfast was very good, plenty of variety. Nice to have the kitchen in room. Lots of business travelers, so it was quiet overall. Two things to be aware of, they charge for parking and the coffee wasn't good. There is, however, a Starbucks Food Service station on site. I would stay here again!

Perfect location on the 405.Easy access to the freeway, less than a block. We went to Pikes Market.the Aquarium two blocks from the market, the Space needle,Boeing assembly plant and the Aircraft Museum. The morning breakfast meal was a real timesaver and newspapers every day was a nice touch.Several nights a week a light supper was offered along with beer and wine, also very nice after a day of touring. This is a great property to stay at.
