Great location in Lynnwood. We liked the suites, beds were decent, pillows not so much. Fairly clean for being a hotel. You can always find nasty spots for sure. Overall pretty decent place to stay. I thought the free drinks/free breakfast is great. Staff overall was pretty nice and friendly. I'd definitely stay there again. Probably the only real negative for us was the water was SUPER trickly and we had barely any pressure. There was construction going on in the building as well, which shut the bar down fairly early.

This is my second time staying at this hotel within 6 months. Had a great experience last time considering the property is dated. Happy to learn renovations are underway! It would have been great to learn that in advance of my stay. Saturday morning we woke up to construction going on in the room directly above us. For two nights there were kids running & playing without supervision, couldn’t sleep. The old bathtub was worn, actually stained. Not to mention house cleaning was hit or miss. Now I will say the staff ate incredibly nice & tried to accommodate me. Once the renovations are complete I’d stay again but until then onwards to another hotel is my motto!

Let me start by saying this was my 5th time staying at this specific hotel. I've been coming here for over ten years. I've had 5 star experiences every other time. This time was so disappointing, I'll probably never come back. The woman who checked us in was lovely. We dropped our stuff off and took off for dinner, so we didn't notice our problems until about 10:00 that night. The bathroom wasn't clean: smears on the walls, the tub grout was orange/missing chunks, dust bunnies on the floor in the corner....then we found out the bed was broken. I set my sweater on the bed and it squeaked like a crappy motel bed overly exaggerated in a movie. A sweater did that... Then I looked around and noticed the cobwebs hanging from the wall (in EVERY corner) and I was done. I wanted a cleaner room with a bed that wasn't broken. I went down to the lobby and there was a "be right back" sign on the desk. I waited from 10:00 to 10:48 with a slowly filling lobby full of people until I gave up and went back to my squeaky bed that pissed me off all night with every move I made. (If someone from the hotel is reading this & sees I booked two queen beds, I stayed with my cousin and she had the other bed which was also squeaky but not nearly as bad). We didn't have time the next day to ask for a new room/move because we were set to be gone all day. I told the staff at checkout my experience and she didn't even apologize!! Customer service really is trash these days, don't expect it to be better here

Waited a long time to check in while the 2 people working seemed to have trouble getting them registered. So we missed the last call for happy hour while we waited. I like the layout for Embassy Suites having a living room and separate bedroom. This site really needs an upgrading . Looks like that work has started. Stains on the most uncomfortable couch I have ever sat on. Bed was comfy. No coffee pot. The last one I stayed at, in Tigard was also very worn out. I’m trying to decide if I want to stay at the ES next week at Portland PDX.
