Awesome hotel in an awesome location

We had a great week in Whistler for our anniversary! The Summit Lodge is perfectly located in the Whistler Village with a short walk to all Whistler has to offer. Very friendly staff and our room with a King bed was perfect! We will be going back!

Stayed here for 2 nights. On our booking through Expedia, there was no mention of building under renovation. We arrived to see all blue tarps covering the building and the front has no concierge or directions. We panicked a little but thank goodness someone picked up the phone when we called and directed us to the village, 5 min drive, to another lodge to register, then to drive back to the apartment. That was a bit inconvenient. Parts of the building inside also under renovation. So door trims and all missing. However, the good is that, appliances all worked. Water pressure is very strong and nice for the showers. Pool and hot tub has amazing views! And the interior (less the Reno) is very Japanese style with a great comfort to it. A double bunk bed added some highlights for our young kids. And being on the first floor it’s actually very surprisingly quiet! All in all we enjoyed our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at Evolution. It felt like a home away from home with a comfortable living room, separate bedroom and fully equipped kitchen. The washer/dryer were an added bonus. It felt like an apartment rather than a hotel room. It was such a great place to hang out after long days of hiking. The area is very quiet and safe. It's not as lively as Whistler Village but so much quieter and it's a quick drive to the village. I loved that we could walk to get groceries. The grocery store nearby is really good too. The cleaning staff did a great job of tidying up without disturbing our stuff. You do have to check in at Legends and I missed that on the message but it wasn't a huge deal. We figured it out.

The staff are super friendly. They would anything in their power to help you. The breakfast is excellent . Kids friendly. The outside pool is on the cooler temperature, we were in the hot tube the whole time.
