Beautiful room, we stayed in the separate rooms outside from the main building. Extremely warm welcome with a tour of the stunning pub. We were invited for complementary canapes - which unfortunately we couldn't make. Huge room and bathroom with a little terrace. Massive comfy bed. Breakfast was really premium with awesome vegan option. Very quiet surroundings. Perfect location to grab a morning run on Dunwich Heath. Parking was easy and safe. Loved every minute and will definitely be back.

Room was fine it was the service in the dining room that let it down. First night only one of the two meals arrived. Next morning our breakfast order was not put through. To be fair they did refund. Was disappointing as we had planned to stay and eat in one place.

Room very clean. Coffee, tea, hot chocolate, water and biscuits available. Bed very comfortable. Clean soft towels. Bathroom fine. Would suggest a handle on the wall by the high roll top bath, but we’re a couple of ‘oldies’!! Soaps, shampoos etc were a lovely touch. Enjoyed the breakfast with a good choice of menu. Staff very helpful for our stay. We would go again and would recommend this as an excellent place to stay.
